A comfortable, cosy stay, thank you

The room was lovely, basic but with everything we needed, very spacious. The bed was so comfortable! The swimming pool was a great bonus. Breakfast had a good selection.

Unfortunately there was a building site opposite our window which would have been fine as we were out all day. But on our first night they worked throughout the night which was very noisy. Also the swimming pool isn’t bing enough when screaming children are in there jumping in! Perhaps children should be restricted.

The property was in a terrible location and the rooms were not clean . There was an awful urine odour throughout and dust everywhere. We noticed flies everywhere and were bitten

A modern clean apartment in a Seniors development.

Modern facilities, underground parking onsite. Breakfast was included. The apartment is in a repurposed industrial area, which neighbours some new hip developments including a brewery and a bar. It is a bit out of town, but it suited us.

Breakfast did not include hot food. Low engagement from the staff, who basically handed us a key and that was it. Navigating the carpark to reception was poorly signposted and was challenging to find. Ended up getting more help from other guests.

Sparkling clean and comfortable

The property was within a newly built senior residence. The location was easy to find and very quiet, parking was easy and reasonable at 7 euros per night in the underground garage. The rooms were sparkling clean, the bathroom spacious, the beds comfortable. There was a balcony to both apartments. There was total blackout window shades that worked at the push of a button. The kitchen was adequately equipped for a short stay, with ground coffee to use in the filter coffee makers. No oven but the microwave had a grill function. The swimming pool was clean and quiet when we visited and the jacuzzi worked well. Sauna was not on but we could turn it on with the push of a button. Breakfast was simple but we enjoyed it. There was a nice garden with garden furniture to relax in. Staff were kind and helpful when they spoke at least a bit of English. I would definitely book here again as we had a peaceful and happy stay.

Staff had very little English and there was no information in the rooms regarding breakfast and the use of the swimming pool. Check-in was a bit nerve-wrecking as I realized only later on the day of arrival that we will have difficulty accessing the property after 8pm. I phoned several times but they either hung up hearing that we spoke English or tried hard but could not inform me how we would gain access to the rooms. For ease of access I advise future travellers to arrive by 8pm. There was a thermostat in the apartment but probably no air-conditioning as we could not make it work. It was probably for heating only.

I blame booking.com for this as I booked 1 room and was charged for 2, REFUND PLEASE!.

Terrible, not much to eat as very little to offer. One cereal on offer ( Frosties ) no fresh bread or rolls, just croissants. No napkins, coffee not freshly made, No bread so no toast.

Due to misunderstanding on their part they booked us 2 people 2 apartments and I was charged for two apartments and got 2 keys on arrival. I told them by email that I wanted 1 room for 2 people. The main problem was the direction to the parking garage. The girl on reception was no help at all. Drove around and around in the one way system for at least 45 minutes until a random stranger kindly helped us, called the reception and we followed him in his car. Terrible area, and only one place to eat. never again.

Smoking not allowed but actually allowed - lack of responsiveness to legitimate request for assistan

Access to the pool was a positive.

A guest across the hall was an absolute chain smoker, night and day. The smell pervaded our room even with towels sealing off the bottom of our door. We reported it the first night to the evening receptionist. She told us she could do nothing. We reported it again the next day. The receptionist said they called the guest but no one picked up the phone. We reported it again the second evening to the night security. They knocked on the door but the guest did not enter. The security guard said smoking was absolutely not allowed because it is a smoke alarm risk. There is a no smoking sign posted in the lobby. We asked for a different room but were told there were no others available. Very dissatisfied with their ability to enforce their own rules. It was a powerful, unpleasant and consistent problem that was not addressed and frankly ruined our stay. Too bad. Without the smoker, it would have been ideal.

Comfortable, super super clean, modern and spacious accommodation.

Love the cleanliness and space and comfort. The quality of this accommodation is excellent!!

The staff was a bit unprepared for the "large" group having breakfast, therefore the service was slow and with insufficient clean plates etc and glasses etc. so we as guests had to ask a lot and improvise to make it work.

Enjoyable

Location, flat size and layout.

Inadequate house keeping. Inspite making multiple reques, could not get the appartment cleaned. However the reception staff were generous enough to provide 1 fresh towel to be used between the 3 of us.

Comfortable and aiirey rooms

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment, large rooms, lovely sitting room/kitchenette. Very clean. Large bathroom and separate WC. Very comfortable beds. Metro was less than 5minutes walk away and 3stops into Lille centre.

Nothing I didn’t like - these are just Very minor points: One bedroom had no wardrobe but there was cupboard with hanging space right outside room. Minor thing is my room had no curtains (only see through net curtains) which overlooked a side road. Didn’t bother me as I can sleep with blackout curtains. But may not suit everyone.

Nice, confortable and new apartment. Good people at the reception. Close to the metro for going to the city center.

The apartment was new, clean and comfortable. People at the reception were always kind and available for helping us. The system to access to the building and the room is good, with the badge we had access 24h without problems. Maybe a suggestion for the main gate to adopt a system for reducing the noice when it closes. During the night it can be uncomfortable for the residents to ear it closing hard.

It is difficult to find the residence following the address indicated in Booking. We had to look for it for a long time, asking people in the street for information. First time cleaning lady came for cleaning the apartment we asked her to not clean, because we were remaining in the apartment that day. But another day that she came, we asked 2 minutes to leave the apartment and left her coming inside for cleaning, but she didn’t do. So the apartment was not cleaned for the entire time we spent there. On Friday evening a lot of noise coming from the street until late in the night, but maybe because the day after the “braderie of Lille” was starting.

Great apartment, but consider the location

The apartment was new, big and comfortable. The indoor pool was fantastic for my young daughter. Being a residents building for older people, it was very quiet. Easy for self catering from the nearby supermarket or Wazemmes market, and just a few minutes walk from the Metro to get into Lille old town quickly. The staff were very sweet and tried to help us whenever needed, despite our poor French.

The apartment was on the corner of the ground floor and didn't feel safe with the windows or terrace doors open. It was also very noisy. The area is still in development and felt industrial. There was a group of unsavoury characters hanging out near our apartment most days and some nights. I'm not sure if there are apartments available to rent on other floors but consider requesting this to feel more comfortable if you want to spend time relaxing here.

Nice place to stay if your French is adequate.

The room was great ,very comfortable for a couple with nice view. There is also supervised parking on request for which you have to pay.

Where is this pool on the photo?Don t speak French?Poor you!Check in was up till 8pm.We arrived at 7pm and parked just 2 blocks from hotel.Google maps very confusing to locate hotel.The personnel at the reception was not helpful on giving us proper directions to Drive so it literally took us 50 min to drive 500 m. At the end a neighbour open up the garage door for us.We arrived 8:05 pm .We were just given keys and that’s it.No Wi-Fi password,no instructions,no nothing.Needs improvement in communication

A perfect place to stay close to Lille center.

The location was good. In few minutes by bike we got to the city center. The apartment was spacy and in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff was friendly and helpfull. It was easy to park our car in a secure area close by.

Everything was perfect so we are not able to describe things we did not like :-)

Staff does not speak english and we couldnt find staff for a while to check-in as we arrived later in the evening, no instructions about wifi and no staff to advise so we could not connect so please ask in advance.

Immaculate Property, well maintained, would stay again.

The apartment and complex was immaculate. As a previous hotel manager, I could not fault the cleanliness and maintenance standard of the property overall. The pool and sauna facilities were excellent, easy to access, clean and well maintained. I loved the addition of the automatic shutters that cover all windows, so I didn’t have to wake up until I wanted to. Kitchen facilities were well stocked and maintained. Staff were very friendly; both back and front of house, very helpful and polite. The chef makes a lovely omelete! The apartment is also closely situated to a large Carrefour supermarket (5 minute walk) and the Marbrerie metro station, which is only 3 stops (about 5-10 minutes) out of Lille city centre.

Unfortunately due to my having iPhones, I had compatibility issues with the apartment-hotel’s Wi-Fi. So unfortunately I had to use my data whilst I was there. So a note for anyone with an iPhone, you may struggle to get online.

Very weird! Bad location.

All the facilities were new. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious!

It was an elderly retirement village so it was a very strange vibe! The restaurant was set up like a stage area for the elderly. The wifi did not work. It took 1.5 hours driving around in circles to find the place as there is no signage - only for the retirement village. The location is very bad and not in a safe part of town.

Very peaceful, well located.

Located next to Metro station, super easy to reach the centre within 15mins. Very clean and spacious newly decorated rooms. Quite peaceful atmosphere and soft matresses.

I could only say that there were no hair dryer in the room. Apart from that above any expectation.

very new building. it’s a senior apartment but the decor is very morden and colorful. two bed room appartement with two rooms, one double bed and one single bed. very clean and comfortable. hotel staff is extremely friendly. we arrived very late. it’s our mistake that we didn’t specify the arrive time. but they still received us warmly

Great swimming pool, extremely friendly staff. We were not aware these were service flats. Mixing with all kinds of ages is a plus for us. This could be organised better. Breakfast was to be buffet but not many people were there, so we had to ask. No problem for us but not everyone is so assertive

I would not call this a hotel, its located in a home for elderly people. The feeling as such was very strange. The area around is not the nicest in Lille.
