About this villa rental

Around the property there are paved areas, an English garden and the large park of approx. 4000mt characterized by the typical plants and vegetation of Maremma. The round pool with the breathtaking view is the highlight. The context is very well cared for, nature is the master and therefore it is easy to be immersed in silence, having one of the most beautiful beaches of the promontory at your doorstep. The beach can be reached in 7 minutes and offers bar, restaurant and beach facilities. Private parking for 2 cars.

Monte Argentario is a splendid promontory surrounded by the sea and connected to the coast by the Giannella tombolos and an artificial isthmus that corresponds to the Orbetello dam. It is a widespread municipality extending south of the Grosseto Maremma and has its two main centres at Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole. The Argentario attracts tourists for the uniqueness of its landscape, its marine environment and its exceptionally mild climate, making it an ideal holiday resort for much of the year. Monte Argentario is an almost completely hilly promontory connected to the mainland by three tongues of land. The highest point of the promontory is Punta Telegrafo with its 635 m above sea level. The landscape is characterised by man-made terraces for the cultivation of vines and olive trees. The only plain is located at Terrarossa, near the 19th-century dam on which the road to Orbetello was built. The Argentario is famous for its rugged coastline where you can find coves and beaches with crystal-clear turquoise water. They are also of remarkable beauty from a naturalistic point of view. This is why they are part of the Cetacean Sanctuary, established in 1991, as a protected natural marine area of international interest. The two towns on the promontory are Porto Santo Stefano to the north-west and Porto Ercole, of more ancient origins, to the south-east.
