This is the best way to go! Everything was great clean and the scenery was wonderful! Watched hummingbirds cardinals and deer from the window! The host provided meat and cheese with crackers, wine, cereal, milk and orange juice not to mention the apples bananas and oranges that were very appreciated! The weather was cold and rainy but we were warm and relaxed for both days when at the cottage! So enjoyable ❤️

It was very quiet.
Thursday, my second day there when I got back from dog show, I found the front door open. My last night, there was a gathering on the property and someone was allowed to park at the cabin which did not give me a parking space.

The hosts, Randi & Larry are great! Excellent communication and very responsive. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The hosts left wine, and breakfast food like eggs, sausage, milk & orange juice. There were also individual cereals and oatmeal and a fresh fruit bowl. Oh and a little snack tray! Full-size refrigerator and coffee pot, not a Keurig. Very quiet without a lot of light pollution so you can see the stars if it's not overcast. Just a super lovely place to get away.
There was nothing we didn't like. It was a great experience in a relaxing, safe environment. I wish there were some little goats, but they do have a dog and she was fun!

Was pleasantly surprised to find breakfast fixings in refrigerator! Hosts were very accommodating. Close to towns of Kerrville and Fredericksburg. Easy access to hosts’ huge, secluded property. (It was a little confusing as to where to go once inside gate— it is a very long, winding driveway to get to property, but once we found it, all was good)!
FYI: GPS passes the property every time, so look for the mailbox number—it is well marked!
Beautiful area, lots of native wildlife! The area is hilly, and dry, so lots of cacti and wildflowers. We saw deer, birds, a tarantula, a baby snake, a scorpion and a wild boar all on this property.
Loved having the light/fan switched labeled!
Would have been helpful to have the checkout “to-do list posted in the house, so we didn’t need to look it up.
Also, would have preferred to have clean wash rag available to wash dishes, not just sponge.
