L’EFFERVESCENT

The location was exceptional. Literally minutes from the centre of Reims so everything was easily within walking distance. The property was clean and spacious with a little kitchenette, separate toilet and bathroom and a mezzanine level bedroom. Stairs are a little steep so care should be taken going up and down! But this adds to the charm of the place. We arrived by car and there was a private car parking area which was secure - this was a massive bonus. The host met us to hand over the keys and explained some key points about the property. She was also generous enough to provide us with a map of Reims and point out some areas of interest. We always appreciate local knowledge. We had a wonderful, relaxing couple of nights and would absolutely book again in the future.

Not really a dislike at all, just a note that the ceiling in the bathroom is quite low with lovely wooden beams but could potentially be a hazard for taller travellers! I was fine as I am short but my husband played 'dodge the beam' with his head when showering!

Amazing little apartment a short walk from the cathedral and most of the others tourist areas. Properly secure off street parking in an enclosed court yard with private entrance

Being 6ft the ceilings are very close to my head and in the shower I had to stand with my head between the joists, it’s fine if your under 6ft but be aware if you are over you need to watch out.
