About this cabin rental

This adorable cabin is where you can wake up to a beautiful view and the scent of the salty ocean breeze! Big, gorgeous windows afford a spectacular view! This 1BR 1BA cabin with a beautiful back deck, overlooks Taunton Bay. While you sit and enjoy your morning coffee, you can watch the local lobstermen as they work hauling their traps. Another great feature of this property is the easy access to Route One. You may experience some road noise but that definitely dies down after everyone gets home from work. Recently updated cabin!

Simple, quaint cabin. Great for a couples getaway. The window air conditioner and living room fireplace (electric space heater) were enough to control the temperature properly. Close access to both Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Peninsula. The only minor negative is the close proximity to U.S. 1. After 11 p.m. or so, the traffic is minimal.

Positives: Close to places we wanted to explore. Beautiful view. Overall comfortable and relaxing. Negatives: no grill brush, didn't have dishsoap, washer stunk so we were unable to do laundry, no can opener.
