It is a romantic hideaway from the world with everything you need right here. Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise, listen to the loons sing, watch the seals swim up to the rocks as the tide comes in, or cook s'mores in the firepit by the stars.
The Space:
This gorgeous property sits on its own oasis of sunrises, mountain views, and waterfront activities. It is a romantic hideaway from the world with everything you need right here. Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise, listen to the loons sing, watch the seals swim up to the rocks as the tide comes in, or cook s'mores in the firepit by the stars. It is quiet, clean, well stocked, yet close to activities if you do want to leave this peaceful oasis. This FIRST FLOOR 1 Bedroom cottage is nicely furnished indoors and outdoors. It has ample space to relax and enjoy a getaway with all the comforts and conveniences of home.
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed. The office has a desk and space to work if needed, and a pull out couch. The 2 spacious full bathrooms both have walk in showers. There is a new washer and dryer and plenty of storage!
The screened in porch has a wonderful wildlife view, and is a great place to relax. This open and sunny one floor home has room to spread out and watch TV, relax in front of the fireplace, or head outside to sunbathe and grill! The kitchen has a ton of counter space, new appliances, and fully equipped kitchen for those meals at home.
This home is on the coveted waterfront community of Hancock point, with Carters beach, clay tennis courts, a nondenominal chapel, a public library, and the Crocker House Restaurant. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are approximately 18 miles away. Schoodic Point, and down east Maine are approximately 18 miles. Ellsworth is just 5 miles away with shopping, restaurants, Shaws grocery store, LL Bean Outlet, Renys and more. There is hiking, swimming, antiquing, and more in the area with plenty of maps and brochures at the house.

We had a lovely stay! The cottage has all that you need to relax and unwind! The bed and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The views were spectacular. The location was excellent for Tidal Pass Preserve and Acadia National Park.

We so enjoyed our stay here at couples cove cottage! This place was simply wonderful! It was spotless (we've stayed at many vrbos and this place was one of, if not the cleanest home we've been to!) and it had everything we could possibly need! The backyard was big and just beautiful and the views (especially at sunrise) were incredible! It's very private and it was so peaceful and quiet. We walked in/around the neighborhood every day and everyone was so friendly! We saw eagles right in the backyard, what a treat! We found ourselves torn between going to places in the area and just staying home relaxing and enjoying all of the beauty that surrounded us! We like staying on the quiet side of Bar Harbor and did not want to leave this amazing little slice of Heaven in Maine! We hope to come back again; thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us!
