Your Own Piece of the Maine Coast
Mornings at Tidal Ledge are best started with a cup of coffee and a walk down to the shoreline. Spend the afternoon exploring Acadia and the Downeast coast, then return home to relax by the water as the tide rolls in.
As evening falls, gather around the oceanside fire pit and look up — on a clear night, the dark Maine sky offers incredible views of the stars and Milky Way.
Tidal Ledge borders a nature preserve, making wildlife part of the experience. Bald eagles, harbor seals and a wonderful variety of coastal birds are frequent visitors, often visible right from the lawn.
And if you're here in July or August, keep an eye out for the wild Maine blueberries growing on the property — perfect for your morning pancakes.

The single-level layout includes two spacious bedrooms — one with a king bed and the second with a queen — along with one full bathroom.
The home is thoughtfully appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, luxurious Turkish bath towels, high-thread-count linens, washer and dryer, strong Wi-Fi and a 75-inch television with Roku streaming.
On those wonderfully cool Maine evenings, settle in by the gas-log fireplace and enjoy the view.
Close to Acadia — Away From the Crowds
Tidal Ledge offers the best of both worlds: easy access to Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island, Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and the Schoodic Peninsula, while providing a peaceful waterfront setting away from the busiest tourist areas.

Small but beautiful home. The view is stunning and like others we saw a variety of wildlife sitting outside. Although a bit of a drive from Acadia we enjoyed the serenity. Owner was very responsive to questions and checkin and checkout was smooth. Thank you for an incredibly relaxing couple of days!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Tidal Lodge. The host is very responsive and we were charmed by the thoughtful gift bag that was waiting for us on our arrival. The views are stunning, and the cottage itself clean, comfortable and cozy. We spent hours on the porch relaxing, reading, taking in the view, and marveling at the wildlife. We saw a bald eagle within minutes of our arrival! It’s an easy distance to Acadia and Bar Harbor, which we visited frequently. All in all, it was the perfect getaway.

I cannot say enough good things about Tidal Lodge! What a welcoming hostess Tracey was! A little welcome bag, plenty of towels, very good communication! If you are unsure of booking it because of the distance from Acadia National Park, do it! You're still close to Tidal Falls ad Schoodic, and it's well worth it compared to what's in Acadia!
