The location was better than expected, lots of grounds for our kids & dog to run around. The cottage itself was wonderful - loads of space, good sized rooms & views of the very beautiful surroundings. Also loved the outside hot tub, fire pit & sauna!
There wasn’t much not to like! Unfortunately there was a power cut on our first night but this was in the local area & not the owners fault. It also led to an issue with the hot tub which was quickly fixed. Some corners of the house weren’t as clean as I’d have liked.

Location & open plan
Some issues which were resolved and overall a lovely stay
Kitchen not checked before arrival, not tidy and dirty pan with mould in cupboard.
Bedding linen somewhat cheap for this location and price.
You need to chop the wood for kindling and fire.
