This was a basic doublroom which suited me very well. It was cleanand tidy in a well appointed house and the owner could not have been friendlier or more accommodating
there was no heating on Sunday morning before I left at around 10am
The name on the web site, though was silly and another name eg Dowanhill castle for example though perhaps a bit misleading was easier to recommend to friends

I got excellent traveling experience with enthusiastic Charlotte and the elegant Scottish Collie lady Elektra. It’s the first time in my life to see this breed and had lots of fun playing with her. The welcome pack made by Charlotte helped a lot. I was not aware that the subway close at 6pm on Sunday. She helped me figure out how to travel with Scotrail to go to Edinburgh. The appartement is also nice and old style. Also the restaurant recommended in the welcome pack is great!
No room to improve. There is no lift in subway, so you need to carry the luggage for certain steps. Just be prepared.

Lovely house, great facilities. Clean and welcoming.
It was all excellent. I didn't have a car so the hill was a vit if a truck. But close to the shops.

A casa é maravilhosa. A cama, tão confortável que quase perdia os horários. Charlotte e uma anfitriã adorável e Electra, seu cão, completa o staff de boas vindas. Cozinha bem equipada.
Minha mulher agora quer uma casa igual no Brasil.....
