I got excellent traveling experience with enthusiastic Charlotte and the elegant Scottish Collie lady Elektra. It’s the first time in my life to see this breed and had lots of fun playing with her. The welcome pack made by Charlotte helped a lot. I was not aware that the subway close at 6pm on Sunday. She helped me figure out how to travel with Scotrail to go to Edinburgh. The appartement is also nice and old style. Also the restaurant recommended in the welcome pack is great!

No room to improve. There is no lift in subway, so you need to carry the luggage for certain steps. Just be prepared.

Fantastic property. Full of original features and very spacious with tall ceilings. Bedroom was very comfortable and quiet. Excellent location for cafes, restaurants and commute to work (boo 😊!)

It was very nice environment in a great location with everything needed.

We came in July. Glasgow is typical for sudden changes in weather so we brought rain jackets, and that I recommend. The city is very cosy in rain. Location has everything needed and the property is very clean and cosy. We enjoyed sitting in the kitchen, looking outside of the window when it rained. There are plenty restaurants and cafes and local shops in the area. There are many newly opened restaurants with very good food. The apartment is few minutes walking from the metro station and there are cosy streets on the way.

I don’t think there is anything I could say here. It would be nice to have a possibility to pick up keys outside of check in hours. But the property is shared with the owner, so it is reasonable that the check in requires personal introduction by the owner.

The room and the whole apartment are beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. The instructions given by the very friendly host are thorough and helpful. Everything you could possibly need is available, even the location is excellent. There is also a very polite and extremely cute dog who we loved. We will definitely stay here again if possible!

A beautiful room in a beautiful flat!

A beautiful room in a beautiful flat. While the city center of Glasgow was kind of "too much" for me at the end of an almost 3 weeks journey around Scotland, West End was just perfect. A list of recommodated activities was provided by the host, which was a nice inspiration on what to do around Glasgow without being overwhelmed by all the possibilities. Charlotte was super nice and accomodating and her dog Elektra was just lovely! I stayed for 2 nights and was almost sad to leave afterwards - I'm looking forward for staying here the next time I visit Glasgow! For clarification (as I was only booking hotel rooms over booking.com before) : While the guest room is private (obviously), it is a shared flat, so the host lives here as well during the stay.

An idyllic stay in the heart of the west end.

The room was perfect for my stay. Even though it is situated 5 mins from Glasgow's vibrant west end, it was a very quiet and peaceful stay. The room itself was large and very clean. The bed was so comfortable, I had a two great nights sleep. Charlotte was a wonderful host, and was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Wer es gemütlich und heimelig mag, ist hier genau richtig!

Die Unterkunft liegt im schönen West End, die Byres Road mit netten, kleinen Cafés und Restaurants ist ganz in der Nähe, und auch der Botanische Garten in Laufnähe, falls man mal Ruhe braucht. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt oder die Umgebung zu erkunden!
