Good location. A comfortable bedroom with tea and coffee facilities and a microwave

Good location

The description lists facilities under kitchen and dining area which gave me the impression we would have access to the kitchen and dining area of the flat. Also title of ‘Home stay’ adds to this impression. In fact the accommodation is bedroom only separate to rest of the flat with a bar fridge and paper plates, a small bench along one wall and a chair. All of which is fine but I felt the listing was not clear.

Sweet wee room in perfectly quiet and central area

Easy to find, also thanks to perfect instructions by the host, three minutes walk to the subway, several bus stops even closer by. I had specifically booked this room because it is in three minute walking distance from a concert venue that I went to. So absolute perfection for my purposes. Otherwise, everything is provided. Refrigerator, microwave, kettle. And it’s quiet.

The only thing I didn’t like was that it was only available for one night when I booked. So basically, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Perfect wee room - more than met my needs and at a great price.

I wanted a basic room for the night in the West End of Glasgow. I was going out with friends, so a bed really was all I needed and I didn't want to spend a lot on a hotel room that I would barely use. I am generally pretty high maintenance but this more than met my criteria. It is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Particularly useful and unexpected are the fridge and microwave in the room. This is not the sort of place where you think you must come back here for a romantic stay because it is so fabulous; there are no fancy 800 count Egyptian cotton sheets or a view to die for, but if you want a budget bed for the night, somewhere that feels quiet and safe, is very close to the subway and bus routes into town or you are here for the West End in particular, this is perfect. It is nothing like staying in a big hotel - it is like staying in the home of a friend or your favourite auntie, but with the bonus that you don't have to chat to them!! The host thoughtfully supplied all sorts of things (toiletries, etc) that a traveller might have forgotten that you won't find in a hotel room. I have stayed in plenty much more expensive places that have been a bit smelly or a scary or plain depressing. This is none of those things. It is great. The host, Kaushik, was very quick to respond to any messages and requests and I felt could have been reached easily if necessary, which, for a single woman on her own, is important. I would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to my daughter who needs to stay in Glasgow for work this weekend - I think that says it all.

I booked this room at last minute and I could not have asked for anything better for the price. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. This self contained room with en-suite is located in a quiet cul-de-sac so I was able to park and feel safe. The host provided tea and coffee and left bottles of water. Highly recommend.

My only small criticism would be the small patches of mould on bathroom ceiling. However this did not affect my stay as everything was spotless.

Prima plek net buiten het centrum voor Glascow

Wij hebben de locatie echt gebruikt als slaapplek voor twee dagen Glascow. Het ligt wel wat buiten het centrum dus je moet wel een kleine 20 minuten lopen, maar na een avondje pubs was dat verfrissend. De kamer zelf stelt niet zoveel voor en ligt in een rustige wijk van de stad. Ik zou zeggen geen luxe maar prima slaapplek.

Sehr netter Besitzer, Zimmer war sehr Sauber, wir hatten einen Kühlschrank, Teekocher, Mikrowelle, Teller, Essbesteck, WLan, TV Betten waren bequem, Badezimmer war sauber

Parkplatz ist zwar kostenfrei, man muss halt nur einen bekommen, Zimmer war eher kleiner, aber machbar

Perfecto en términos de precio-calidad

Es maravilloso lo que pudieron hacer con la habitación para lograr que sea acogedora, cómoda y con absolutamente todo lo que un turista podría requerir, como heladera en la pieza y cafetera. Incluso tenían ventilador, el único que vi en todo Europa!

El alojamiento era muy completo, tuvieron muchos detalles ya que había microondas, platos, vasos, cubiertos… Además le dijimos al alojamiento que llegaríamos antes de la hora del check in y nos facilitó la habitación para nuestra llegada.

Por decir algo los radiadores se encendían y se apagaban creemos que según lo gestionaba el casero
