House 1905 - Self Catering Serviced Apartment

Very clean, spacious, convenient and just what we expected.

The location was very good for us, close by to our relatives and an easy walk. Tesco across the road was very convenient. The room itself was ideal for our weekend stay.

The bathroom was small and the sink tiny.

A very well presented and equipped flat.

As older guests, we filter results to ensure that we are only offered accommodation with parking on the premises to avoid carrying luggage a long distance. Despite the upfront claim that parking is available, and despite passing Booking.com filtering out of properties without parking, we discovered on asking the host that the nearest all day parking available is a hundred yards away in a public car park. We did discover later that information 'in the small print' says.that there is no onsite parking but we consider it totally inappropriate for the host to advertise the availability of parking in these circumstances and for Booking.com to permit such parking to be advertised. If you are happy to leave your car and contents overnight in a public car park a considerable distance from the accommodation, feel free to book, but you may feel the need to empty your car of anything valuable and lug your belongings down the street and around the corner to the flat.

Booked this accommodation only due to location for an event I was attending. Overall the accommodation was clean and the bed was very comfortable

The communication from the host was very bad and caused stress. Messages were either answered late or not at all. Received a message on the arrival morning stating a code would be sent an hour before check in but this didn't happen . I tried calling , messaging . Finally got the code 30 minutes later. It is stated there is parking available by the property but that is only for 30 mins during the day then free after 6pm
