This is a lovely original French House within the streets of Port en Bessin. The space was incredible. We had such a good time. The beds were comfy and like a home from home. We wouldn't hesitate to book this again. We were there for D Day and it is a great base to visit all the beaches and memorials. The harbour boasts lots of lovely restaurants. The Fleur de Sel being our fave - stayed 3 nights and ate here twice. It's 5 min walk to the Bars and Restaurants.
We loved everything, but this is something to think about - As this house has been made into 4 beds, then the stairs can be quite difficult to manage, but we thought it added character. You can park in the Harbour or at the bottom of the hill, but the streets are steepish for around 500 yds to reach the house. Like I said none of this bothered us, but if you are bad on you legs, then maybe this won't suit.

Fantastische locatie, dichtbij bij alles wat je nodig hebt voor een ontspannen verblijf. Let wel op het volgende: de huiskamer heeft 1 twee/half persoons zitbank. De rest (we waren met z’n vijven) moet genoegen nemen met een houten keukenstoel. Wij hadden gelukkig onze tuinstoelen bij ons. Voor de rest perfect 👌

Location was great, property bedrooms were good and Kitchen was well equipped.
Check in after 1800 was unreasonable. We were able to enter earlier but I would not choose this property again if only allowed access after 1800.
