A picturesque working harbour with period features house, spacious and clean to a high standard. Outdoor private terrace

The property is beautifully presented with spacious lay out. The kitchen is fully equipped. Location is perfect and you step out onto the street where the harbour begins. The private car parking is perfect for small cars ( ours is a SUV so too big to close gates). There is electricity domestic plug in st the property or super fast charge in the free car park behind. We used this every day with no issues. Valeria , the host great at communicating.

It was perfect. Notably there are lots of stairs.

We loved quaint Port en Besson and the apartment. Great location.

The apartment was very spacious, with 3 good sized bedrooms, a generous lounge room, a courtyard off the kitchen for 6 persons and free parking within 50m.

Perfection in the heart of Port en Bessin

Everything! Our host was wonderful and accommodated us at the last minute. Exceptional locational and very clean with all modern features including a washer and dryer which was desperately needed after a few days on the road! We would 100% stay there again!

Wonderful, return to D-Day landings & Normandy

Location, Location, Location......right in the harbour, right at the heart of D-Day landings. The house was homely, warm and very welcoming. A quick text regarding our arrival was probably the hardest thing to do!! When you instantly feel you don't want to leave, you know it's good . In February and at the end of COVID we were not expecting too much. How WRONG could we be? Everything was open and accessable, no crowds of people. The port of Bessin-En-Port is enchanting and the locals are very friendly. We enjoyed exploring the area. Even though we have visited many times we still found new places. The new British Memorial at Val Sur Mer is breath taking. Very moving and visually stunning. Long over due but worth the wait.

We didn't NOT like anything, but we were saddened by the fact that certain outdoor areas are now Corden off, due to COVID restrictions. Oh and the over the top slightly intimidating checks at the American cemetery.........??!!
