Lovely location in the quiet countryside close to Palmanova, with plenty of restaurants easily reached by car. Beautiful old monastery, tastefully renovated, with modern hotel rooms in a new part, nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast room in the old part, giving it a special charme.
Typical Italian breakfast dominated by sweet items such as brioche and cake, but also ham and cheese. Eggs available on demand. Variety of bread would however have been preferred as well as some vegetables such as tomatoes or similar.
Not quite clear that the hotel rooms were in the new part.

The location is remote, but in 10 minutes one by car in Palmanova. The building and the rooms are newly restored maintaining a warm atmosphere of a country house. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dogs are welcome, there are even dishes and blankets prepared for them.
The bathroom had no space heater, so getting out of shower was shocking. But this was in this particular bathroom. When in the past we were staying in other rooms it was not the case.
