We didn’t stay, horrible, horrible, horrible, I want a refund.
Nothing
It wasn’t a hotel it was a senior retirement home, false advertising, there were no views of the mountains, I should have reviewed this more thoroughly, this should be removed from booking.com

In short, the hotel did the job for a very basic overnight stay, just somewhere to put your head down but be prepared fo
The member of staff with whom we had dealings with was so very pleasant and enthusiastic. Often something you don’t see but that really did put a smile on our faces.
The property’s location wasn’t what had been expected. Images upon booking suggested that it had a rooftop terrace and somewhere to sit to overlook the lake. Unfortunately, when having our breakfast which sadly was very basic and over 30-40 minutes later than we were advised; was had sat on the patio overlooking the car park of another set of apartments. We entirely appreciate that you ‘get what you pay for’ but I feel this needs to be made clearer. Also, the hotel room felt lacking in comfort - the tv was by a desk with two chairs - it lacked any intimacy or cosy relaxed feel to it sadly.

Great facilities
Secure parking- open air but gated with code for access overnight. Very quiet and great facilities. Being seniors accommodation the rooms are very spacious- large living area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Wifi worked well. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen facilities were good. Also have a washing machine and a small balcony with clothes airer.
The property is actually called Villa Sully- this name was in some finer print on the booking.com information but confused us when we trying to find the place on arrival. Also in the finer print it states the residence is for seniors- it is a retirement village that has a number of rooms as a hotel, which is fine but it felt a bit odd when we walked in to a room full of seniors in a day area and had to wait for the check in person. The wet area bathroom meant a lot of the floor got wet but a squeegee mop did help to manage this. There didn’t seem to be a freezer component to the fridge but there was an ice cube tray so maybe we missed something here.

Lovely accommodation if you want to stay in a care home. I got a glimpse into my future...
The modern, clean rooms were very spacious and well equipped. The carers (yes, carers!) were extremely helpful and very friendly, and they made the stay much more enjoyable for us. Free parking on-site, and our dog was very welcome.
This apart-hotel is part of a care home for the elderly! At no point on Booking.com or on the hotel's own website does it indicate that this is part of a care home - even Google Maps shows the hotel in a slightly different location, which is deceiving. When we arrived we saw a bar and terrace area but also saw a number of people in wheelchairs...it seems that the business (they have others across France) rents out the ground floor rooms to paying guests, whilst the rest of the building is a care home. We felt like interlopers, and I definitely think there is a safeguarding issue - at one point I came across an elderly resident in a wheelchair who couldn't remember where her room was, and I was able to escort her up to her floor in the lift. There is no security to separate the residents from the paying guests, and if that was my relative I would be seriously concerned about their safety. But maybe this is a normal thing in France? Our room was spacious and included a full kitchen and wet-room. The reason it was so spacious is because it is accessible, and this includes sensors at the side of the bed that automatically put the bathroom light on - which is fine, apart from the fact that our dog set the sensor off around 52 times each night simply by snoring/wagging his tail/turning around in his bed! The light was on and off like a strobe at a disco!! Whilst the carers were really nice and helpful, the same cannot be said of the concierge who was on duty during Easter weekend - we found her to be unhelpful, particularly when (not) dealing with an issue with our toilet - we got the feeling that she resented having to deal with us. I think her priority was with the residents, which I can totally understand. One of her duties was to supervise the residents' meal times! It is advertised as being a 20-minute walk to Annecy - it is a good 40-minute walk each way, so be prepared for that.

Very nice place and people, and the price is very reasonable. I will be happy to come back
Friendly staff and clean Villa. The room is big with balcony and fully equiped kitchen including dish and cloths washer machines.
I woke up every day around 6 am with a huge noise of the vacuum cleaner. One staff member got into my room without ringing the doorbell or knocking the door and the pillows are very soft
