Very (mostly) clean, modern and well set up.
Appliances were clean, modern and functional.
The mini wine fridge in the kitchen was great and the outdoor braai and patio was lovely.
The key for the main sliding door onto the patio & Braai was missing. The reservations team and onsite management did a great job but it took some time and a few tries. A full set of spare keys should be quickly and easily accessible to management for this sort of instance.
Clearly the guests before us were smokers as the lawn in front of the unit was littered with cigarette butts. Not great when you have small kids - we had to clean it up. The cleaning should include a scan and tidy up of the lawn.
Loadshedding is a reality and there were back up emergency lights but perhaps some rechargeable lights or rechargeable globes in the hallways would be a good idea. Not pricey and easy to implement.
