Spacious 3 & 3 in Aspen's Core with Sauna

Location was excellent. Easy walking distance to downtown restaurants and Aspen mountain gondola. Although parking was first come, first served, we never had a problem finding a space. Rooms were spacious. I believe there was a ceiling fan in each bedroom. Washer and dryer very handy. Linens were high quality, and beds comfortable. The manager was always available by phone to solve any problems.

It is a 2 story unit with a small spiral staircase to access the upper floor where there was the kitchen, living area, and 1 bedroom. You could also access the second floor by exiting the unit and going up exterior stairs, but we mainly used the spiral stairs and they were small. We were there during a week of record heat…highs in the high 80s and mid-90s. While air conditioning was advertised for the unit, it is NOT central air conditioning. The “air conditioning “ consists of 3 fans (1 for each bedroom). The fans have a drawer where you put in ice and water…each load probably lasted 4-5 hours. They did not do much to curb the heat. We were forced to leave all windows and the upstairs door open at night to hopefully catch any breeze. To be fair, I do not think that many houses in Aspen have central air.
