As first time visitors we wanted a base in the old quarters. GM Premium does superbly on location. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was unexpectedly cramped, with very little space to move around the bed. Wifi speeds also felt inadequate, with frequent download failure. Overall, not great value for money, but we have a big thank you for the staff who made it a pleasant stay for us.

We spend 3 days at GM premium hote. The location is excellent as it close to all the tourist hotspot. The staff is super welcoming and helpful. I have a baggage that is delayed from the airline and was only delivered to me at 8pm and the staff was on point to help with accepting this and deliver it to my room even though i am outside at that moment. Bonus point is they have an awesome welcome tea!

The staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I only stayed one night but I would visit again if I travel to Hanoi

6.8 / 10Average·Oct 2026

We are traveling the entire country of Vietnam and this is the the only disappointment we have had so far. Suites are smaller than small rooms of other hotels, poor service by the restaurant staff whose answer to many requests was a NO. Better signage in the restaurant for the buffet is needed as many customers have food allergies these days. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish they focus on improving the above areas of concern as the country is full of tourists who are spending their hard earned money and they need the value for the money. Dinner service was below average, but the food was great. As former hoteliers I would like to suggest that “never say no to a customer “ as they keep your business alive and pay everyone’s paychecks. Check in and out procedures can use timely efficiency for customers who are in hurry to catch a flight or going for a business meeting. I hope our concerns and suggestions are taken in a positive manner and improve the standards for the betterment of the customer, hotel and staff. Thank you.
