Property was lovely, clean. Views and walks amazing. Beds comfy. Garden beautiful. We saw deers and a red squirrel.
We have stayed in many cottages and thought Little how could have supplied at least more than one toilet roll in each bathroom and more than one kitchen bin bag. Maybe a pint of milk for late arrivals. Usually there a few bits like condiments , cling film , foil etc. we know it’s not compulsory but we thought it was a bit mean.

It was clean and lovely setting.
The parking for Little How can be challenging if the Bunkhouse is occupied. A couple of fans for the bedrooms should be considered. A couple of large containers of water for emergency’s is needed. The town had a water break, which the locals informed us happens sometimes leaving Little How without water for a day. Having stored water to flush the toilets would be great.

Great location within walking distance of Grasmere centre and on the doorstep of some great trails.
Getting into the parking area is quite tight. We just managed to get our VW van in but it was tight. The access road would also not be suitable for lower sling cars.

The setting. The enclosed garden. Facilities and equipment. 10 minute walk into Grasmere. Helm Crag and Easedale Tarn on the doorstep
The road into the property is extremely uneven. Burst tyre to show for it
