Spoilt by appalling communication and their deposit system. Still wait for my GBP deposit it 509 pounds. 6 weeks later. Ignoring messages.

A large and very well-appointed apartment located in the heart of Rouen

The central location was excellent. The large apartment was lovely and well-appointed. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The staff was very communicative and friendly.

I found it a bit odd to have to register on a separate website after booking to put down a security deposit of EUR 500 on my credit card. The fact that a security deposit was required was noted on the listing, but not that it would be handled on a separate (to me unknown) platform and not via Booking.com. I found this procedure puzzling, particularly since I've never encountered it before during all my years as a loyal Booking.com customer. As noted on the apartment listing, be aware that the stairs to access the apartment are very narrow and steep, particularly the first flight. And as is the case with many older European residential buildings, the entryway and stairs are rather shabby. But rest assured... the apartment interior is lovely.

Excellent location

The location is amazing. The flat is basic but comfortable.

Simple things could be much better: for example, only one roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms; 2 bath towels but no small towels for the bathroom; no tissues. The stairwell is a nightmare. I'll put in a photo. The owners asking guests to clean up and leave the property as they found it was, well, a little much.

Great location for people who are used to European travel

We loved the location and the apartment itself

We understand we are in Europe, and in the historic district. This is the 4th apartment we have rented on this trip through Italy and France. The communication was delayed but quite a lot of time. There are daily city taxes, which is fine, however not mentioned in listing of properties. Then I was told I needed to pay a $500 deposit. Again, we are ok with all of this, just not clear. The worst part was the two NARROW CURVED staircases do if you are elderly this will not be easy to manage. Also, we were given instructions to that someone would meet us to do an inventory that we would receive a check out email and none of this happened. We left the apartment immaculate figured out where to dispose of the trash. Just things to be aware of when you book but should by no means stop you from booking

The cleanliness was awful: dirty bathroom, dirty coffee machine with mush inside. We asked for more toilet paper as we did not get enough and got no answer, thus we had to buy our own! There is only a body towel, but no hand towels are provided.

The apartment is located in the heart of Rouen, which we loved. Beautiful and clean property with so much character. We loved our stay and we are looking forward to coming back one day. The host was approachable and responsive, open for questions or assistance if needed any.

The place is superbly decorated and very central. The host is very flexible and responsive.

There is a small round window in the living room with no curtain and this is not optimal for those sleeping on the sofa bed.

A beautiful apartment on a charming street!

Location, Location, Location!!! This property was perfectly situated to explore Rouen by walking. The property was spacious and very comfortable for three people and was nicely decorated.

Unfortunately, there was a bar at the end of the street which was quite loud until about 12:00 AM. Also, there are two sets of stairs to get up to the apartment-the first set has extremely narrow steps (maybe six inches). However, this was stated in the description so we were aware of this. On the whole, a wonderful place to stay to explore Rouen!

We had a wonderful stay for three days (two nights) at the apartment. We loved every moment of our stay there. The apartment is very well furnished and decorated. Beau séjour dans le centre de Rouen

L'appartement est moderne, bien équipé et très bien placé ! Le lit est très agréable, la cusine spacieuse et équipée. En plein dans le centre, pratique pour faire des balades. Il y a un monoprix tout près et des restaurants sympas autour. L'appartement est grand donc parfait pour un long séjour.

La communication via booking n'était pas très fluide. Plusieurs de mes messages n'ont jamais reçus de réponse. C'était mieux via whatsapp après. Les fenêtres n'isolent pas bien du bruit, dans la semaine ça n'est pas trop gênant mais le vendredi soir c'était très bruyant. Ça serait utile d'avoir plus de papiers toilette, sacs poubelle, tablettes pour la lessive. Une serviette de bain pour les mains, cheveux et du sopalin seraient également appreciés.

Posizione strategica, appartamento nuovo, pulitissimo e arredato con gusto. Inoltre la presenza di due bagni lo rende ancor più pregiato. Ci tornerei sicuramente

Avrei gradito che la struttura fornisse oltre all asciugamano da doccia anche uno per il viso. L appartamento si trova al secondo piano e la prima rampa dei gradini sono molto stretti con difficoltà di portare i bagagli.

Luxe en sfeervol appartement op een toplocatie. Het bed was super comfortabel met fijne kwaliteit beddengoed. De woonkamer sfeervol ingericht, en in de keuken was werkelijk alles aanwezig en van goede kwaliteit. Dus prima om ook zelf eens voor een maaltijd te zorgen. Wij maakten ons zorgen om de hoge temperaturen tijdens ons verblijf, en waren bij aankomst blij verrast toen er een moderne goedwerkende designventilator in de slaapkamer klaarstond. Een tip voor wie met de auto arriveert; je kunt goed parkeren in de parkeergarage Vieux Marché. Deze is weliswaar lastig te vinden doordat delen van het centrum afgesloten zijn voor niet-bewoners. Maar de garage is goed in-en uit te rijden, ook met een iets grotere auto. De vakken zijn smal, maar dat is overal. Wij betaalden 33 euro voor ruim anderhalve dag. Voor zo’n centrumlocatie niet te duur.

Het appartement zelf is top, maar als je de ingang ziet, en ook de trap en gangetjes, dan schrik je wel even. Ziet er niet geweldig uit.De trap is best lastig, en met een grote koffer kun je niet boven komen. Wij waren op rondreis maar namen alleen een klein koffertje voor de nachten daar mee.

Appartamento situato in un edificio storico in pieno centro pulito, ben riscaldato ed arredato con estrema cura e buon gusto. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente da Viviane (spero di ricordare bene il nome) e sua figlia, date tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno e sono rimaste a nostra disposizione per tutta la nostra permanenza.
