Taking up part of the ground floor of an ancient olive mill, this home is full of typically Tuscan rustic charm. Along with the wooden ceiling beams and terracotta floor tiles, guests will find a collection of antique furniture, ornate bed frames and an opulent chandelier. The ceramic tiles in the kitchen are rather fetching, too
Take a peek out the windows and you'll see the garden, which, although shared with other residents in the building, has a good variety of quiet seating areas. A rather unique part is the ancient washhouse, which is still supplied with fresh spring water so guests can cool off during summer afternoons.
Although the address is surrounded by countryside, it only takes ten minutes in the car to reach the seaside at La Terrazza della Repubblica or Lido di Camaiore. The cobblestone streets and Renaissance walls of Lucca are only a forty-five-minute drive away, too.
