Het fantastische uitzicht van de ruime buitenruimte en de handig gelegen lokatie, vlakbij zee, heerlijk om buiten te vertoeven. Snelle communicatie met verhuurder.
Het feit dat een aantal basics ontbraken: de kookplaat, er zijn maar 2 pitten en waterkoker zijn echt aan vervanging toe (onhandig dat die niet goed werken, want in de buitenkeuken is geen warm water), er was geen bezem om de kamer mee te vegen. Het ongedierte dat ‘‘s nachts buiten tot leven komt (zorg er echt voor dat er nergens iets te eten valt buiten!)

We had a relaxing stay after a hectic couple of days in Florence. It was great to arrive by boat from La Spezia. There is a pleasant walkway for pedestrians from Portovenere (10-15 min walk) to the apartment or there is a bus ( bus stop outside apartment).
We especially liked the upper terrace with its fabulous views of Palmeria, a wooded island (worth visiting) and the bay. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped. There are two upper terraces, one for sunbathing and a higher one with the kitchen. The gardens are extensive and filled with lots of plants.
The immediate area was quiet in mid June, but we found a good restaurant nearby. We loved visiting the market (Monday), churches and castle in lovely Portovenere. It was nice to do the Cinque Terre villages boat trip, but we were glad we had chosen Portovenere for our stay, as the villages were so busy.
The bathroom is compact with an enclosed shower, but adequate.

The view is absolutely amazing and the location is superbe!
And the AC was working amazingly.
The shower is covered in black mold with a very very intense mold smell which is a shame.
