Baden House - Freycinet Holiday Houses

Awesome location. Lovely home. Extremely comfortable and beautifully presented

Baden House is located in our favourite little corner of Tasmania, Coles Bay. The house is located in Swanwick which is a short drive from the main part of Coles Bay. Sandpiper Beach and Great Oyster Bay can be viewed from the living area. It is a short walk at the end of the street down to Sandpiper Beach. The house is beautifully finished, and the bathrooms were stunning. Upstairs, the kitchen was fully equipped ready for you to cook anything for the family. Large kitchen island bench to allow plenty of preparation space. Dining table that seated 8 and a comfy couch in front of the Fireplace. Large flatscreen TV complements the living area. There is a telescope setup to view the surrounding coastline or the stars perhaps. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs has a large laundry with Washing Machine and dryer, and a toilet, and then there is the main bedroom with a huge ensuite with shower, bath and vanity, all beautifully finished. Outside was an area for you to entertain with a bbq, and a pull out clothesline if you need to do some washing. Coles Bay is a short drive down the road where you will find Iluka Tavern, General Stores, Geographe Pizza Restaurant, The Icecreamery just to name a few. Coles Bay is where you catch the Wineglass Bay Cruise, or you can catch a Pennicott Water Taxi out to Hazards Beach or Cooks Beach. A little further on from Coles Bay takes you into the National Park where you can walk the track up to the Wineglass Bay lookout, walk down to Wineglass Bay Beach, walk the isthmus track from Wineglass Bay Beach to Hazards Beach, then you can either walk the Hazards Beach track back to Coles Bay, or organise a Pennicott Water Taxi back…so much to enjoy in this region whilst enjoying your beautiful accommodation. Would definitely stay in Baden House again.

Beautiful house. Well equipped kitchen etc for a longer stay.

There was only 2 of us ( a couple) staying We were not permitted to use the top floor bedrooms, Only the bottom bedroom. We had to use the car to get anywhere as it was a bit of a distance from town.

All the creature comforts and luxuries. Your choice of complimentary goodies including a bottle of local wine. Lovely view of the surroundings.

Missing hairdryer and body wash on the second floor bathroom. Garage floodlights did not seem to work.
