The Nook- A Rustic Cottage in a Beautiful Village.

Very comfortable house for up to 6 people, the beds are excellent, bathrooms also. Starwberry picking at the end of the village was a real highlight of our stay

Le lieu est top, entre Cheddar et Wells et pas si loin de Glastonbury ;) Maison pleine de charme dans des ruelles. De nombreux wc et salles de bain, lits confortables. Serviettes de toilette bien agréables, lits faits a l'arrivée ;) Petit coin salon tres apprécié. Wifi ok, tv connectée ok. Hote tres disponible par message

Les plaques de cuisson ne marchent pas correctement et ca c'est vraiment tres embêtant. Le grille pain fait effectivement sauté les plombs, je l'ai nettoyé pour eviter le grillé au fond, je pense que ca faisait bien longtemps qu'il n'avait pas été vidé. Escalier a retaper absolument, c'est limite dangereux, certaines marches bougent énormément, déjà qu'elles sont tres étroites. Poussières et moisissures sur les murs, plafonds et salles de bain, les photos ne font pas état de cela. Nous supposons que la maison doit certainement etre tres humide l'hiver et nécessiterait plus d'entretien pour la garder saine.

Located in a quiet village, easily accessible to shops, pubs, cafes via a short drive. The cottage is two stories, three toilets, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living areas and all the required facilities. Comfy bed, good sleeping. This is an older cottage, possibly mid 1700s, with low doorways, narrow staircase and no aircon but all windows function, making it an adventure. It has modern fitout, excellent shower and bath, very functional kitchen. The owner lives nearby and is quick to respond to any requests.

kitchen was adequate and showers were good, log burner was nice

back small courtyard had nowhere to sit had not been cleaned and a dog poo bag left out there by someone else, front courtyard unavailable after 9pm as neighbours complain about light’s and noise after 9pm, due to young children trying to sleep in a room above, cleanliness was poor at best, bed linen old, creased and extremely uninviting, had two cars as five people staying to be told no parking at cottage so one car on the owners drive and the other wherever we could park in village. Had our 84 year old father with us and the stairs are not suitable for old and infirm.
