A perfect stay in the most idyllic setting

We chose this beautiful place for our stay during Ironman Klagenfurt. We wanted somewhere relaxing but not too far from the race venue and this was perfect. I cannot describe how beautiful the scenery is and our suite at villa stern had a beautiful balcony and private terrace area to enjoy nature at its best. The whole of villa stern looks newly refurbished with a mix of modern and traditional furniture, The bathroom is a good size with lovely walk in shower, the water pressure was great and never short of hot water.. we had a separate lounge area to the bedroom. Both the lounge and bedroom opened out onto the balcony all with direct views to the pool and amazing forests. It is absolutely peaceful. Every morning breakfast is served from 8-10am, but on race day they prepared it for us for 4 am. The hosts are a couple and they are fantastic. They are so accommodating and will do anything to help make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was everything from hot cooked breakfast, to cheese and cold cuts, to cereals, yoghurts, fruits, croissants and regional delicacies, as well as a great coffee machine and a mix of teas and fruit juices. I cannot fault the cleanliness it was immaculate and they change the linens whenever you wanted and organised the room cleaning when you wanted too. The hosts also provide trips to venice which is just 2.5 hours away or if you go in winter they can take you just 30 mins down the road to a ski resort. The Villa Stern also has some bikes if you want to take them out for a ride. There is a cycle track just a couple of hundred metres down the road so it's really convenient. Viktring is just 10km down the road and there you can find shops and restaurants, but you will soon come to know that the villages surrounding lake klagenfurt are full of places to visit and dine. We had a fantastic time and are coming back next year for sure.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Melissa is an excellent host and very caring for her guests. The breakfast was really amazing with a multitude of options and if you needed anything Melissa would make sure it was provided. We would recommend this to anyone visiting the region looking for a quiet spot to stay!

We enjoyed our time close to Woerthersee

Very friendly host. BnB just opened and everything was fine. 10 min driving to Woerthersee, walking distance to the lake Reuschelesee. Quiet location. Breakfast was great. We only stayed 2 nights, but would book again.

Recommend coming by car or bicycle as restaurants or supermarket are at least 5 min driving time.

Super Aufenthalt in Kärnten

Alles war super. Da ich den Halbmarathon am Wörthersee gelaufen bin, konnte ich so früh leider noch nicht Frühstücken. Uns wurden aber extra Sandwiches zum mitnehmen gemacht. Sehr sehr nett.

Leider kein normales Fernsehen, dafür aber Netflix.

Sehr schöner Kurzurlaub

Die Begrüßung bei unserer Ankunft war sehr herzlich und sympathisch! Das Zimmer war top, sehr sauber, bequemes Bett und das Mobiliar war sehr schön! Das Frühstück war jeden tag sehr gut und wir wurden immer gefragt ob wir ein gekochtes oder Spiegelei wollen da dies frisch zubereitet wird. Der Pool war super und die ständige Bemühung die unserer Gastgeber jeden Tag hatten was die Sauberkeit betrifft war top! Die Lage ist perfekt und man kommt schnell zum Strandbad/Minimundus/Reifnitz/Velden. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert!

Von Anfang bis Ende war unser Aufenthalt einfach perfekt. Die Unterkunft liegt an einem herrlich ruhigen, idyllischen Ort – ideal zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Die Ausstattung ist top und es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber: außerordentlich sympathisch, zuvorkommend und unglaublich freundlich. Man spürt in jedem Detail, dass sie mit viel Liebe und Herzblut dabei sind und alles dafür tun, den Gästen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wunderbare Pension mit phantastischem Frühstück!

Die Villa Stern ist ein sehr nettes kleines Hotel, das überdurchschnittlich viel bietet: ein großes Zimmer, das de facto aus 3 Zimmern bestand (Vorraum, Schlafraum, Wohnraum) sowie eine überdachte Terrasse, einen schönen Pool (den wir wetterbedingt nicht nutzen konnten) und vor allem ein wunderbares Frühstück - perfekt!

Für uns als Gruppe von 7 Personen der ideale Aufenthalt. Wir haben ihn sehr genossen.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und grosszügig. Ruhige Umgebung in Fussdistanz vom See. Die Zimmer sehr sauber und der Pool eine Wucht. Frühstücksbuffet ausserordentlich reichhaltig und vielfältig.

Im Dachzimmer hatte es etwas wenig Platz, um nasse Sachen aufzuhängen. Wurde aber kompensiert durch reiches Angebot von Badetüchern.

Im Winter wäre Auto von Vorteil. Das weiß man aber, wenn man die Unterkunft bucht. Ist eigentlich kein Mangel.
