The cottage was very clean, looked brand new, well equipped in the kitchen. Comfortable bed, view of the sea, in the distance. We had good access to make trips in the area. We parked right in front of the house, and the area is extremely quiet. The owner was very nice, she gave us smoked salmon. We really liked Orkney and felt good in the cottage, although it is a bit small.

We couldn't have hoped for anything better. Spotlessly clean. Everything you'd need. But lovely added extra available of milk, butter and bread. Our hosts live next door and they were incredibly friendly.

The apartment was very fresh and new. The host supplied milk, bread and butter as we were arriving off of a very late ferry which was very helpful. They also left lights on so we could find the property which was a bit remote so no street lights! Being based outside of Kirkwall was good for accessing many locations around the Island which we liked and it also was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was roomy and had every thing we needed for 2 as was the bedroom and ensuite.
We really had such a good time here the only thing they could have added would be a washing machine for those staying longer otherwise everything was spot on.
