Perfect sea view stay

Lovely place to stay while stopping over in Wick. Really modern and had everything we needed. Great wee coastal path to walk into the town. Host was lovely and so welcoming. Tablet was delicious, thank you for that! Would recommend and use again.

Cosy, comfortable, very clean, friendly host, Many Thanks

Booked very last minute as Storm Amy decided to visit while we were in a motorhome ! Lovely accommodation, with everything you need for an overnight stop. Host was really friendly and was happy to let us park the motorhome at the front. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Many Thanks

Lovely stay with a great host

Fabulous place, every thing you need Janey had catered for it. Very kind, generous and knowledgeable lady. Quick walk into town along the river. We missed an incredible Aurora seen from Janey’s place by a few days. We stayed for two nights, thanks for fixing up my big boo-boo Janey, you’re an absolute star ⭐️ A real treat was Janey’s tablet, bloomin deelish. A genius host indeed. Thank you thank you thank you

Everything. It was absolutely perfect. We’d recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxed and comfortable night in a lovely location. Janie is a fantastic host, her tablet is gorgeous and the location is quiet but so close to local amenities.

Lovely cosy room. Hostess was very friendly and we were made to feel at home straight away The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The added touch of home made Scottish tablet just made our day.

Wonderful!

I’m a solo touring cyclist and have stayed at thousands of places cycling around the world. This ticks every box. The proprietor is warm and welcoming and lovely. She takes obvious, and deserved, pride in her guest room—super clean, comfortable, well appointed, fabulous shower. And a couch! A small fridge, basics for coffee and tea. And a welcome sweet! A really beautiful place—— a comfortable and tranquil room by the sea for those setting out on an end to end cycle tour. Or any other reason—it’s great! Thank you Michael Himes

Lovely little place that does what it says on the tin

The host is extremely helpful, and has put a number of nice touches in the annex. Everything is finished to an extremely high standard, and is spotlessly clean - and I mean *spotlessly* clean. Plenty of storage space in the snug with facilities for tea/coffee/snacks. Very spacious location with free private parking. The homemade tablet was just the icing on the cake (it was delicious), do not leave without trying it.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. There were a couple of small things that could (IMHO) improve the snug, but nothing that would stop me returning again in the future.

The place was easy to find, accomodating, and felt very relaxed. Our host was amazing and approachable. Janie was quick to respond to messages and communicated well.

really comfortable and well situated, and thoughtfully provisioned with different teas and coffee. Great shower!. it was about 20 min walk to Mackeys hotel for dinner, but a nice walk if the weather is nice!

Hidden Gem!

Janie is amazing, such a warm and lovely person, Wee Coastal Snug was spotlessly clean, very modern and very comfortable, couldn't have wished for more and if we are up that way again I'll definitely be staying there again.

Lovely welcome at this well equipped accommodation

Lovely warm welcome from Janie, the host. Spacious room with huge bed, sofa and mini kitchen. Everything spotlessly clean, great bathroom with strong shower pressure. Quiet residential area near a coastal walk.

Not a criticism at all but be aware that the room, although self contained with own entrance, is part of the host's home, so you are visible to the comings and goings of the household.

Brilliant place to stay

This is a very lovely place to stay very close to the ocean. The host is a very kind lady who does everything to assist you to have a comfortable stay. The bed is very comfy. There is a microwave & small fridge plus toaster in the room. I loved this place so much with the Clifftop walking track very close to the room

Great wee place for a comfy stay.

This was an ideal wee place to overnight on our NC500 trip. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Delicious home made tablet was a kind welcome gift. Great communication with the host. There’s a lovely coastal walk towards town directly from the place.

Wunderful!

cosy room with plenty space to put your stuff. Jeanie was fantastic, very helpful and pleasant. She has an Aurora alert on her phone, and if you want will wake you up to see Aurora if it is out. We were so lucky to see it! you can walk right up to the sea and it a good place to explore the north of Scotland from.

A cosy bedlight would be a nice addition.

A beautifully maintained apartment a few steps from the coast. Comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you need. The lady owner is a real gem who makes sure you have everything you need.. Highly recommended.
