Camps Bay Stay

The location was perfect. The kitchen in the apartment had everything we needed and was in good condition

Decking area of the studio needed a good clean. We reported a broken sun lounger beanbag- it was never replaced Bathroom bin wasn't emptied for five days until I left it in the middle of the floor. Room had a 'stale bodies' smell. Not sure how often thing's like cushions and bed throws are cleaned.

The really location is great and the place is cozy. The bed was large.

I was disappointed that they try to charge for a parking spot per day. If you leave in the mornings and return once the day visitors have left Camps Bay, it is not necessary that you pay for their parking at all. The bathroom had a sliding door that was difficult to open and is in need of urgent maintenance.

The location could not be beaten. Lovely apartment with everything we needed. So comfortable. Beautiful sea views. Having 2 bathrooms.

Only 1 key between 3 of us which was difficult at times. As in addition to the key to the apartment there was a fob to get in and out of the complex. The narrow badly lit stairs.

Superb

The apartment was perfect for us. We wanted to feel safe and the location was across the road from pick and pay 60m. Beach 150m. Lovely sized room. Nice kitchenette. Bedroom bigger than looks in the pictures and the balcony is very big. Just be aware that the open top bus comes past and the open top is level with you. We did not care. After 3 days thought we may be part of the tour but if you want total privacy not for you. Would stay here again in a hearbeat but will say that checking in was a shambles. Took early an hour with other people in the same situation. Some language barriers with some staff. It seems that due to load shedding the cleaning can get effected so even though the keys were there they had to be inspected first. Bit of a joke really but that was 1 hour out of an amazing stay so just maybe be prepared for it

the pool was too far from the apartment having booked for 5 nights we were asked to move rooms for our last night this was advised before we went and we chose to keep our booking and staff were very efficient in ensuring we had as little disruption as possible

Bad service

View and facilities except there was no blanket to keep warm

Staff were rude from the booking team to the host. Took them a whole day to organise an extra blanket and on the last night, there was a maintenance team drilling throughout the night till 6 in the morning. When asked what was happening, I was ignored It is a lot of money to spend for a weekend and it was mostly disappointing, to say the least.

Our stay was definitely one to remember! Highly recommend

I loved the appliances and how clean and open the space was. the fact that the sliding doors open all the way up just made it feel like the inside and outside were one, not to mention the lovely breeze from the beach coming in. I also love how quiet the area is despite it being right next to a busy road. The bathroom was also very clean and beautifully designed.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was that there was no mop and that the closet space did not have doors to close everything up.

Grey walls view advertised as seaview

It's a few steps away from the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. Had a view of the beautiful table mountain from the balcony. The bed was comfortable and kitchen fully equipped.

We booked a seaview apartment as detailed on the booking confirmation and the pictures but got an apartment with grey walls as a view. We could only see a bit of the sea from a side view while on the balcony. Camps Bay Village needs to include the photos of the actual apartment you're booking not general pictures of various apartments.

It was close to pnp. That is literally the only good thing about this place.

This whole WhatsApp group is bs… someone needs to come and attend the guest. Not everyone hiding behind a phone. The room was in a corner n nothing like on the picture shown. Was really disappointed

In Summe eine gute Unterkunft für einen Selbstversorger - Aufenthalt in bester Lage in Camps Bay mit kleinen Abstrichen

Großzügiges Appartement, sehr gute Ausgangslage, sehr nette Damen an der Rezeption. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und sogar unser Abwasch gemacht, das ist nicht selbstverständlich.

Die Unterkunft ist z.T. in die Jahre gekommen, manche Dinge waren kaputt, wie beispielsweise die Liegen auf der Terrasse und Schimmel im Bad im Bereich der Dusche sowie eine kaputte Bodenfliese, die lose war. Des Weiteren war der Security-Herr, der uns zum Appartement brachte, derart unfreundlich und nachdem wir keinen Parkschein vorweisen konnten (was gem. Rückmeldung von der Rezeption für die 1 Nacht ohne in Ordnung sei), griff er in meine Tasche, während ich dort nach dem Schein nach sah. So etwas geht leider absolut gar nicht.
