Appartamento Afrodite

Good location, very nice owner, clean. Everything worked as planned. Private parking.

The property was so clean and well equipped. There was an open plan kitchen/dining/living room, with air con and a ceiling fan. The kitchen space had a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and oven. There is also a large balcony with table and chairs. The bathroom has a shower, bidet, toilet, sink and washing machine. The bedroom has a large double bed and a wardrobe. You have access to a pool and are assigned two sun lingers. It was quiet most days but very busy on Sunday. Tatiana was a brilliant host and provided everything we needed. Plus was very attentive when we messaged with questions.

It’s a bit more remote but there are good bus links with bus 2 stopping right outside. The bedroom window opens onto the common hallway from the elevator, so we kept the shutters closed for privacy. We couldn’t find bowls for our cereals but all other cutlery and crockery is provided.

Appartamento abbastanza spazioso, terrazzino molto bello da vivere e soprattutto tutto pulitissimo!!! La signora Tatiana gentilissima ad accompagnarci e a spiegarci tutti i servizi anche quelli intorno alla struttura che si trova a 300m dalla passeggiata sul lago. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!!!

Our host, Tatiana, met us at the apartment to show us around and hand over the keys. As we did not have a car, she very kindly drove us to a large supermarket and waited for us to shop and brought us back. She was always on hand to answer any questions we had and dropped us the the train station at the end of our stay. An excellent host and a really lovely lady. The apartment had everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. There is a bus stop right outside the complex that brings you into Desenzano and the town of Rivotella del Garda is only a 10 minute stroll where there are a number of restaurants and bars. The apartment is in a lovely quiet area and you really feel like one of the locals.

The only thing that would have made the apartment completely perfect would have been a fan or air conditioning in the bedroom as it is only located in the main room. Even with the window open in the bedroom at night, it could be very warm and stuffy. We had to keep it closed because of the mosquitos.
