It was a beautiful, quiet location away from the tourist hussle and bussle. The staff was kind and welcoming and facilities very clean and comfortable.

Unprofessional, break-in, unsafe and afraid sums up our stay.

Quite big room with a nice view

We did not enjoy our stay at Haus der Hoffnung and we would certainly not recommend it to anyone! We were woken up in the middle of the night by someone who tried to break into our room who also had a key that fit to our door. If we hadn’t locked our door and had the key in from the inside the person would have gotten in without problem. After that we felt afraid and unsafe. A few hours later (still in the middle of the night) the same thing happened and our door was attempted barged in again. We packed our bags and left early in the morning, and in the so called reception we found the people who tried to break in sleeping on a bench. We tried calling and contacting the “reception” but the staff was not available until long after we left. When I finally got a hold of the staff, almost crying because I was so scared, they apologized and said that they would call me or get in contact in some way so that we could come to an agreement but I haven’t heard a beep since then. Overall a really unprofessional guest house which left us feeling stressed, afraid and unsafe!

Adequate for an overnight.

The balcony was nice and our room was clean. There was a very nice view and the kitchen was nicely appointed.

On our double bed one mattress was quite firm and the other was more of a hammock. The shower was very small. Most of the building is being lived in by long term renters and there is no public space left for guests.

The very good choice for this region

Comfortable accommodation with picturesque view of mountains. Beds were perfect, rooms and bathroom were clean and well-equipped. It was nice place to stay for 1 night. The price is very good for this location (other ones in Fussen surroundings are more expensive usually), but it's not cheap accommodation.

No WiFi connection ( I do not remember where I did not have WiFi connection during last 10 years of travels)... really irritant. Location is quite far from the town centre (~ 3 km), shops (~ 1 km) and restaurants (~ 2 km). Parking is paid (5 Euro/night) - it's some kind of hidden increased price, because it's not very good location for travelers without cars.

Superb

Comfortable and very spacious accomodation, supplied with everything you can need, and with a beautiful balcony with a sight on the Bavarian mountains, where you can also have lunch or dinner. The place is found in a small residential area at a few miles from Füssen, the famous Bavarian royal castles, and the Forggensee; there is a small free car park outside the structure.

Nothing, actually. The apartment is located at a second floor (no lift, just in case you may need one), and there is no reception - the person who gave us the key was very kind anyway, even if his English was very essential.

Bon hôtel, très bien situé par rapport au château de Neuschwanstein.

L'hôtel est très proche de Füssen et donc des châteaux de Neuschwanstein et Hohenschwangau, son principal atout, proche également du lac d'Hopfensee qui nous a été conseillé par le réceptionniste, très sympa, pour le dîner, avec rivage super romantique et nombreux restaurants. Grand parking gratuit.

Les lits en eux-mêmes étaient confortables mais avec une énorme couette en plumes, trop lourde et trop chaude. Détail amusant : si vous mesurez moins d'1.70m vous ne verrez que le sommet de votre tête dans la glace du lavabo dans la salle de bains, en Allemagne les gens sont grands !

Prima verblijf, maar zeer gehorig.

De locatie is prima als je Neuschwanstein wilt bezoeken en ligt rustig net buiten Fuessen.

De gehorigheid. Wij hadden een appartement met 1 slaapkamer met balkon met aan beide zijden buren. Aan allebei de kanten kon je de bewoners letterlijk verstaan, zelfs ‘s nachts het knorren van de bewoners.

Prima locatie, iets buiten Fussen. Kamer en overige faciliteiten waren netjes. Leuke locatie als je op doorreis bent, Fussen zeer de moeite waard met zijn prachtige kastelen en gezellige oudstad. Alles keurig schoon.
