A few miles upstream of Bridgnorth is Shrewsbury, England’s finest Tudor town, which has one of the best waterfronts, a wide variety of shops, bars and a riverside theatre. Could not of had a nicer holiday! After some bad news I had received a couple of days earlier, I booked this last minute to just get away, relax and pick myself up again and this lovely little cottage did not disappoint. From the very start Jo was so helpful in letting me know directions to get there, what the local amenities were like and answered all my questions. Upon arrival she gave a little tour of the cottage and explained how everything worked from the dishwasher to the hot tub and then let us settle in. The area is peaceful and tranquil, right in the heart of the countryside. The cottage has plenty of space and is well equipped with everything you could need from cooking utensils to cleaning aids and all the luxuries like washing machine/ dishwasher/microwave/airfryer. There are two separate gardens which wrap around the property which is useful to keep an eye if you take a dog and perfectly mowed thick grass! There is also ample parking (big spacious bays) so no issues with having a bigger car. The local town has everything you could need a market on Saturdays, a town with lots of open shops all mostly dog friendly and plenty of nice bars/restaurants also dog friendly. To summarise it was just the perfect break!
