Relaxing Retreat with Terrace & Sea Views - Sleeps 4

Well decorated, light and comfortable apartment. Great use of space, nice photos and other decor, good appliances. Clearly done with care. Looks better in real life than in photos. Easy walking distance to the town (15 to 20 min).

The apartment itself was clean, but unfortunately the balcony had lots of bird poo and needed a good general sweep. We didn't want to use it, with the state of the floor and the chairs. Similarly, there was bird poo, feathers etc by the apartment front door (the floor, the steps, top of the bannister), which leaves a very poor impression and is not nice coming back to each day. Whoever did a good job cleaning the apartment, should have really also cleaned the balcony and the entrance. The apartment is on the top floor so gets a lot of sun. It was incredibly and uncomfortably hot in the warm May weather. Note that the apartment doesn't have aircon if you choose to stay there in hot weather. Note: the apartment is on the 4th floor and there isn't a lift. It wasn't a problem for us, but it could be for some, especially those with mobility issues. Also, I wouldn't like to carry a buggy or a toddler up all those stairs... The area felt a bit rundown and rough, though I am sure it was beautiful once. Not sure how I would have felt coming back on my own at night...
