Tree House Bungalows Koh Tao

The staff was really faboulous!! They made you feel right at home and helped out wherever they could (from fixing my broken reading glasses to find me a reliable motortaxi). Food in the restaurant was soooo good, no need to go somewhere else! The aircon was top and not blowing over the bed. And a fan available as well. I loved that (for sleeping without aircon). The view is really great.

Let me start by saying that prices for hotels and taxi's in Koh Tao are 3 to 5 times higher than in the rest of Thailand, so I will not compare it by price.... The hotel was a bit remote and on a mountain, so when you do not want to rent a motorbike, walking to beach and supermarket is really a challenge 😅. The room could do with some maintenance and a fitted sheet that fits the (old) matress would also have been very nice. I woke up every morning on a bare matress.... Also a very old and dirty Hammock and outdoor cushions. Not really expensive things to do or change and it would make the room soo much better!For me no problem because it was too hot to sit outside anyway.

The property is on a hill looking down to the sea over the trees. Is Luke sleeping in a tropical forest full of frangipani trees.

Its an amazing spot with great views and peace. Its still only a 5 minute moto ride to the busy part of town and the beaches. The staff were lovely and the food/drinks are amazing too.

Amazing views and balcony, great breakfast and friendly staff. Treehouse bungalows are very remote, the setting is peaceful. Renting a bike is recommended.

The rooms require some care, it is clear that a renovation is needed. Rooms could also benefit from more regular cleaning. It was not a problem for us, but to reach the room there were unavoidable steep steps, i don’t think we fully anticipated this prior to booking as was a challenge getting up and down. We enjoyed our stay although on the last night the staff had a party which would have been no issue normally but the music and noise was playing until the early hours affecting sleep. The bathroom was very basic and did not have any handsoap
