I chose a 8 or 10-bed bunk but during my stay, they changed my room to a 14-bed bunk which was so crowded and there was no relocation or heads up they just started shifting everything. when they wanted me to shift because another big group was coming in, they told me the morning of so i had to immediately shift with no advanced warning either. for their “continental breakfast”, the owner told my friend he couldn’t drink the milk and it could only be used with the coffee. the owner will also tell you that you can pay for your rental scooter once your contract has ended but don’t trust it because he will change the price and upcharge you at the end and there’s nothing you can do about it. after talking to the local thai staff he employs (a few kids 16-20 yo), none of them like him because i don’t think he speaks thai, and he doesn’t treat them well either. toilet kept clogging with shit too so it was so unsightly. although the local staff are very nice and welcoming, i would only recommend this hostel if you’re there for a few days but nothing more because the owner is really quite a nasty person after talking to a few customers and their staff.

Free breakfast, clean rooms, functional aircon, nice public space. A better choice compares to the capsule, capsule is more private but less talk with other tourist.

Cheap hostel so you can’t expect luxury (no curtains between the beds, bread for breakfast every other day, …) but for the price it’s quite good value, with a good location, nice staff and cute dogs. The owner is really helpful as well and you can go to him for any issues which he’ll happily fix. Great place to meet people as well.
