AN UBUD DREAM

We had the most wonderful stay at the Valerian Villa. The staff were so fantastic and hospitable and we could not fault the place. Everything was amazing, the service, swimming pool, room with a view, breakfast and other meals from the restaurant and the beautiful and peaceful location. They made our stay for our honeymoon so special and decorated the room and gave us a gorgeous honeymoon cake. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Valerian, you won’t regret it. Thank you so much for having us and your amazing Villa and for all of your wonderful hospitality, you made our trip PERFECT!

My stay at Valerian Villa Ubud was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond, genuinely warm, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality alone made the stay feel special. The environment is incredibly serene, surrounded by nature and perfectly designed for switching off and escaping the noise of everyday life. It’s peaceful, calming, and simply beautiful. The room itself was stunning, spacious, immaculately clean, and finished to a very high standard. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, and the overall quality exceeded expectations. This is a truly lovely place, and I enjoyed my stay immensely. I would wholeheartedly recommend Valerian Villa Ubud to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and outstanding service in Ubud. The serenity of the location and the villa was superb. Breakfast was plenty and tasty. Staff were very pleasant.

This will be the most important review that you read. This IS the most pleasant stay I've had at any hotel in my life. Breakfast Gone are those disgusting hotel buffet breakfasts. Instead you're served a full meal, complete with your selection of bread, fresh juice, hot drink, and dish - delivered right to your door at no extra cost. And not your regular scrambled eggs and bacon. No. Nasi goreng to start your day or if you fancy something sweeter, some lovely fresh pancakes, complete with your choice of fruit. Remember those early morning rushes at 10am trying to get down in time for breakfast? No worries, it's at your door for you to eat at your convenience. Hospitality Hospitality was great. The staff were amazing, welcoming, and seemed to happily go above and beyond to look after your needs. Cleanliness and location The room was very clean and the view was spectacular. A pool that overlooks the paddy fields and a room with a great view over both the gardens with lovely koi fish and the beautiful fields. The hotel also offered a free shuttle service to nearby areas to care for your transport A great stay and will definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Ubud

Boutique villa close to Ubud

Beautiful, well manicured grounds, the view from the pool area is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and always very helpful.

The restaurant, while good in quality is not very atmospheric. The garden rooms are a bit dark and the sink in the bathroom is tiny. Although the grounds are amazing, there was substantial noise from next door construction.

A charming hotel with 8 rooms. The family room (Padi Room) is a modern bungalow overlooking the rice fields, the pool, and the garden. Very clean. Excellent à la carte breakfast served either on your room’s terrace or at the restaurant. Delicious food for lunch and dinner. Beautiful pool with a view over the rice fields. Well-maintained garden. And the most remarkable aspect is the service. The staff (reception, waiters, cook, security…) is friendly, helpful, and attentive. A truly 5-star personalized service! Thank you all — we will be back!

Let down by stolen items from hotel room and terrible food.

The bed is really comfortable and the shower was spacious and good water pressure

I had goods stolen from my bag, and the hotel staff did nothing to accommodate my concerns. The food is awful, it’s inedible. Especially For a five star hotel, and they make you order it the night before using a piece of paper.

Best Villa in Bali Ubud, this place is a hidden gem!

This place is hidden gem. This was by far our best hotel while in Bali and one of the best in which I stayed, the location is not central but if you are looking for a quiet, intimate location this is perfect for you. The Family Villa was very convenient for the family. The facilities are great inside the room and outside with a lot of activities much appreciated by the kids and adults (fish feeding, turtle feeding, huge shared living room with piano, cinema, sofa to relax. The food at the restaurant was great, really really tasty and breakfast meals (savory and sweet) were very tasty. The restaurant chef is definitely one of the high point of this Villa. The staff were super nice helping us with finding taxi, activities etc. The pool was warm and great overlooking the sunset and the rice fields. My family and myself enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely come back here during our next Bali trip :) Thank you for everything!

Best place to start our honeymoon trip to Bali

We loved our stay at the Valerian Villa! Everyone was so incredible, I wish I wrote down every persons name but that’s how amazing it was every single person who works there made sure we were treated amazingly and we so were. Ubud can get very busy so it was so nice having this private oasis that was so easy to get to using gojek or the free shuttle valerian Villa has! The details and the facilities and rooms were so wonderful. And very very yummy food!

It is a bit outside of ubud but we were able to use gojek and the free shuttle to get anywhere so made it so easy!

I’d rate this hotel 20/10. I felt totally pampered, the personnel couldnt have done more for my convenience. A quiet, spotless clean, amazingly beautiful, better that the pictures show. I also liked that the hotel is smallish so theres not too many people, no queues, very often I had pool only for myself. Breakfast was excellent, based on your own choise, my diet was well taken into consideration, serviced into the table in a beautiful garden area or inside if you’d rather sit there. The location outside Ubud was good, there was not noise from the traffic. Hotel trasport service was also beyond expectations.

Liked everything, I just wish I had had longer holiday to be able to stay here longer.

This property is unique and exceptional. It has fascinating sunset overlooking, so if you willing to enjoy calmness and nature it is your best choice. Also, it is extremely clean inside and outside the room. Food menu was fresh and varied daily. I had an amazing time at Valerian Villas in Ubud. The place felt like a second home from the moment we arrived. The views were stunning, and the villas were super comfy, with cool extras like a lounge with karaoke and instruments. But let me tell you about the garden – it was unforgettable! Beautiful trees, ponds with adorable fish, and a fantastic pool with a charming swing. The sunset view from there was breathtaking. The best part? The terrace! It had this awesome view and sunset – seriously fantastic. We planned to stay just 1 or 2 nights, but we ended up sticking around for an awesome 6 days. We even got our friends to check it out, and they loved it too. The staff was next level. When we got scammed at an exchange place, they totally had our backs. Two of them came with us, and we got back the €250 we lost – way more than we expected. They were on top of everything and always had a smile. Seriously, if you're thinking about booking, just do it. You won't want to leave. Big thanks for everything! Shoutout to the owners for being awesome to their staff – it made a real difference. Thanks again for an epic stay! 🌟😊🙏

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, thanks to its excellent facilities, attentive staff.

The hotel facilities are excellent, with a limited number of rooms that ensure it's quiet, clean, and creates a relaxed atmosphere, making my stay exceptionally comfortable. The hotel staff provided outstanding service. They greeted me warmly and were always eager to help with various issues. Whether it was booking a car or reserving venues, they were more than willing to assist. I also noticed that the staff, in general, had good English language skills, which made communication smoother. I want to give a special thanks to Agus. Chatting with Agus was a delightful experience, and his service left a lasting impression. I look forward to staying at this hotel again and seeing Agus once more. In summary, it was a memorable stay!
