Welcome to Cedar Lodge at Rockaway, your perfect coastal getaway just a block and a half from the heart of downtown Rockaway Beach. With easy access to shops, dining, entertainment, and just another block beyond to the sandy shores of the Pacific Ocean, this charming lodge offers an unforgettable retreat for families and small groups.
The home features four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, making it ideal for those looking to spread out and relax. One bathroom includes a classic clawfoot soaking tub, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun, while the other offers a walk-in shower for convenience. Inside, you’ll immediately notice the home’s natural wood accents and custom details, giving it a warm, lodge-like charm throughout.
Kids and adults alike will love the bonus living area, complete with a built-in loft bed, cozy seating, and a TV with a VHS/DVD player for nostalgic movie nights. There's also a quiet reading nook or office space, offering a peaceful place to recharge with a good book or catch up on a few emails.
Step outside to the covered back patio, where you can fire up the BBQ grill or gather around the fire pit with friends and family, sharing stories and s’mores after a day of beachcombing and exploring.
We’re committed to ensuring that Cedar Lodge remains a peaceful and relaxing space for all guests and neighbors. Please note that quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and the home includes a noise monitoring system to ensure respectful sound levels. There are no cameras or interior surveillance, and we simply ask that all guests enjoy their time while being considerate of others in the neighborhood.
PET FRIENDLY: *There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $200 (2 pets). Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. Please do not leave dogs unattended at any time in or on the property. No other pets allowed.*

We had a great time. The house is clean, the kitchen had all the dishes and knives for cooking, plus spices!. It is very spacious and comfortable. It is close enough to the beach that my 84-year-old mom was able to walk down with us and enjoy it (she refused to ride in the car!). It was nice to be able to bring our dog along, since he is part of the family. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rockaway beach. This house was comfortable and the grandkids had a ball. We cooked all of our meals so the Markets near by came in handy for staples. The beautiful beach is literally a short walk straight down the street. We were also able to walk to our church just up the street, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. What nice people. We also appreciated the owners of the house we were staying in, texting us to check in. The outside faucet to rinse off the beach sand was helpful as was a two car garage. We would stay here again.

The listing was nearly perfect when it came to what to expect. The home is uniquely designed. There are 2 toilets and only 1 shower. For our large group that was a tad tricky. The beds are listed as Queen sized but they were more like Full sized which was fine but just unexpected. It’s the most generous and relaxed beach house I’ve ever rented. It’s very well stocked in the kitchen too. They respond very quick and we always had what we needed. We could take neighborhood walks or easily walk to the beach, to our favorite stores and ice cream shops. It’s a great house for a family vacation! Have fun!!!
