Auburn - Great view and screened in porch - Lake Martin family gatherings

So much to love about this property with the icing on the cake being the million dollar view! House has everything we need and then some. I like the fact that this property is nice, clean and well kept but not so nice that I have to worry about our dog messing anything up. It's the perfect pet friendly lake house. The location is also ideal for exploring by car or by boat. Beds are comfy, water pressure is outstanding, the lot is amazing and scenery is epic.

The lake view is beautiful!

The location was great. Enjoyed staying on Lake Martin and having a great dock to jump off and nice stairs to get out of the lake. The outside is amazing. The inside has an older feel and is very comfortable. Lots of room. Would highly recommend.

The host was great and very responsive. The hot water was muddy and would not clear so that put us down to one bathroom which we made work. There is a flat carpet throughout and it is a dog friendly property so not being vinyl or tile was odd. The decor/cabin is truly a circa 1980s cabin like I grew up going to. The decor was more like thrift store finds. No upgrades at all except the TVs/ceiling fans and airconditioning. It could use an update as the wear/tear on the sofas had the head rest portion worn down on the leather and you could see the round worn head spots. The outdoor covered porch had dirty walls like it just had not been washed down in some time. The dock and boat parking was great - the dock had been redone with treck decking and nice steps that lead into the water. That was the best part of the property. The host was very nice though so this is a constructive review I hate to say anything too negative but updating would be nice.
