About this house rental
Welcome to the Eagle's Perch on beautiful Lake Martin! A fantastic 5BR/4 full-bath home that comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 6 kids and is located in Parker Creek - 5 minutes from The Landing by boat or car. The property consists of a 3 bedroom, 3 bath “Main House” with 1,775 sq/ft and a spacious studio “Carriage House” with a bunk room, full bath with double sinks and its own kitchen (975 sq/ft). Both have excellent big water views of the lake. The 3-bedroom Main House has a master (king), a guest (queen) and a bunk room (2 twin bunks). Each bedroom has its own private full bath and includes a flat-screen TV with cable and streaming available. Additionally, the master has private access to its own deck facing the lake. The spacious bunk room is the perfect hang-out for kids. In between the bunks is a full-size couch that faces a 50-inch flat-screen TV with an xbox with plenty of games. It gives kids their own entertaining space away from the adults. The recently remodeled kitchen is open to the main living space which includes seating for 7 and a 70-inch flat screen TV. The fireplace in the living room is not operational. The kitchen includes all new stainless appliances, a separate beverage/wine fridge and seating for 4 at the 11-ft peninsula counter. Additional dining for 6 is available on the porch. Speaking of the porch, the Main House’s most popular attribute is the 500 sq/ft screened-in porch that provides big water views and is less than 30 ft from the shoreline. Besides dining for 6, the porch includes a relaxing swing, additional seating for 7 and an outdoor TV, so no one misses the game. The string lights provide just the right ambiance, and the ceiling fans provide the right comfort. Someone will end-up sleeping on the porch for sure.
Separate from the Main House but connected by a dogtrot with a short trip up the stairs is the Carriage House over the garage. The Carriage House is a completely updated 975 sq/ft studio apartment with a king bed, a private bunk room (2 twin beds), a spacious full bath with double sinks and an eat-in kitchen. It is perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. The main living space provides endless views of the lake with a wall full of windows and vaulted ceiling. All new stainless appliances are in the well-stocked kitchen, and a large farm table provides seating for 6. A comfy couch and chairs allow plenty of space to spread out in front of the 60" flat screen TV with cable and streaming. Outside you'll enjoy the spacious 300 sq/ft deck with dining seating and two oversized adirondack chairs. The deck is 20 ft off the ground, so be careful on the deck with no horse play and limit gatherings to 6 people.
While the house(s) provide much comfort, you are likely here to play on the lake and outside. Access will be provided to the garage with the boat ramp, although it is recommended that larger boats be launched at Parker Creek marina, which is located nearby. Paddles for the kayaks and life vests can also be found in the boat ramp garage. The lighted dock has covered and uncovered spaces. The covered space is stationary, and the remainder is floating. The dock provides amazing views of the sunset at the end of the day. The water depth is ~7 feet at full pool at the end of the floating dock. There is also a SeaDoo port that can be used. On land there is a firepit surrounded by 6 adirondack chairs and complimentary firewood is provided. In the dogtrot, there is an outdoor sink, picnic table, propane grill, ping pong table and cornhole boards. Under the deck are 6 kayaks that are available for use. Last and of course, hi-speed Internet and Wi-Fi are also provided.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The décor is beautiful and even included little touches of pumpkins and autumn for our Thanksgiving visit. The views of the lake were gorgeous from sunrise to sunset, and we loved relaxing by the fire pit, which was fully stocked with plenty of wood for our s’more making.The host was fantastic and communicated quickly and clearly from start to finish, making everything smooth and stress-free. Every single detail of the home was well thought out, and it truly made our stay feel special. We can’t recommend this lake house highly enough!

My family had the absolute best time at this lake house. Every bedroom has a bathroom, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of great amenities like kayaks, paddle boards, a ping pong table and games. The screened porch was the perfect place for morning coffee chats and we loved hanging out on the dock and floating dock during the sunny days. Lots of wonderful family memories were made during our long weekend. We would love to come back again. Thank you for the hospitality!!

This place was amazing! I can say that the house / property has everything you would need for a great vacation on the lake. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of outdoor fun, firewood for fire pit, water toys, life jackets for every size, etc. Jim was such a great host-quickly responded to any questions you have!! We will definitely be back.
