About this house rental
Charming 3/3 cabin on a large 1.2 acre private lot. Sleeps 12 in beds.

10 minutes to Kowaliga Restaurant by boat or car
20 minutes to Chuck's pizza by boat or car

As you walk down the stairs from the parking area you are greeted with an incredible view of the water. To your left is a great covered, screen in porch with chairs and a swing to relax. The house is to your right. Just a few steps away on the gently sloping lot are the dock and water. It is rare to find a home so close to the water with such a flat lot.
You look out at Goat Island with breathtaking views! You can even see the goats on the shoreline some days!
Fantastic outdoor grilling area!
The house has an incredible master suite with en suite bathroom accessible through a small covered walk way. The other part of the house has the living room, kitchen, and other 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a queen room with an en suite bathroom and a bunk room perfect for the kids with a hall bath accessible by all.
Your family will love this cabin perfectly situated on the water.
House has internet, cable, and Apple TV.

Beautiful view and location, but the property needs careThis was our first trip to Lake Martin, and we absolutely loved the area—it’s peaceful, scenic, and we’ll return. The view from this home is truly wonderful, and the setting has so much potential.However, the property itself requires considerable attention. The home felt unkempt and disorganized. There was thick dust on shelves and light fixtures, burned-out lightbulbs, and we even saw a few cockroaches during our stay. The kitchen was especially disappointing—it was stocked with very old, mismatched cookware and utensils that were not clean. Washer and dryer and refrigerators were very dirty. Cobwebs everywhere. I understand it's a lake place, but these were very old webs. It’s a great property in a great location, and it could be amazing with a deep clean, better upkeep, and some basic restocking. We hope to see improvements in the future, it deserves better care.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a negative review anywhere we’ve stayed but I’m going to have to be honest. We were charged twice the price beings it was 4th of July week so we paid 1,000 per night (last house on the lake available so we didn’t have a choice) and couldn’t even all take warm showers at night. There were 9 of us & the house is listed for 12. So shouldn’t the house be accommodated for 12 people to shower at night without it going cold on the 4th person? The sink in the hall bath leaked after 1 use and 2 of the kids slipped down in the hallway before we realized it had leaked & water had run into hallway through the grout lines. Also, The shower in the hallway bedroom only half the water comes out at the top of the shower & the rest flows outta the faucet so no water pressure there so we couldn’t use this shower. Spider webs in the windows and a large wolf spider resting on top of the towels in the master bath. I did contact the host about warm water issues for showers & the leak in the hallway & he said he would have a plumber come look but of course after our trip. Even after all this I still feel bad leaving a negative review bc I hate to do it but I have to be honest.
