Cold , grubby but comfortable

It’s a lovely spacious house and in a lovely location

We arrived on 23rd December in late afternoon to find the house absolutely freezing . It was warmer outside than in!! There was sticks and some coal left for lighting a fire but no matches or lighter . There were electric wall heaters but not turned on either . I switched on the immersion but it didn’t heat water either . Lucky there was an electric shower . The house cleanliness left a lot to be desired .!! I rang the owner and sent him some photos to which he said he would speak to his cleaner . Which is not really satisfactory. The beds were also very cold/damp . It took 2 days of having a fire lighting constantly and the heaters on to get the temperature in the house anyway comfortable . I would think this is something needs to be addressed for future guests in winter time.

We had a wonderful stay in Ballybunion this year. We will be return customers of this property.

Location was great, a short walk to town. The house was fabulous, lovely modern decor & comfy beds. Spacious, we had a party of 4/5 adults & 3 kids, and we had loads of room. A superior property to others I have stayed at in same estate.

The kitchen table was a little short, we could not pull our chairs in under it, there was also a tall island screwed on to it, which we found to be a little antisocial for card & board games. A must in Ballyb when the rain comes in.

The location of this house was great. It is situated within walking distance from Ballybunion town and beach. The house was very clean and well maintained by the owner.

The house was very comfortable. It had a washing machine & dryer and was very clean and modern throughout.

There was no dishwasher or Wi-Fi and the electricity had to be topped up on the meter

Very well equipped kitchen.

Couch uncomfortable, very odd TV arrangement with saorview stations in lounge, satellite stations only on tv in bedroom and not properly tuned. Huge TV on a stand totally out of proportion for a bedroom. No bed side lockers in double room. No towel rails in upstairs bathroom.

Lovely house, very well equiped and very clean. good location

The electricity coin box. Due to the cold weather the house was cold and it took a lot of money and frequent filling of 2€ coins to heat the house especially in the first 1-2 days. I'd imagine this would be much less of an issue in summer

Beautiful area, near to shops and restaurants, interesting places to see, silence to rest, absolutely lovely and helpful owners!🙂

In the kitchen some cooking items are missing. It is cumbersome to throw coins into the electricity and regulate the water heating in the bathroom but owners were very, very helpful. 🙂 All difficulties have been overcome.🙂
