the apartment is nicely arranged and in a good location

unfortunately, there were several issues: the windows don’t close properly and have been partially patched with adhesive tape. unfortunately that doesn’t do much to keep the cold and the wind. The host has set the central heating to reset at 10 C. every time I changed it, after a couple of hours it was back to 10 C. I emailed to ask to keep it at 19, which was done only for part of the day, and then it just went back to 10. it’s not suitable when you have a guest staying for several days. In addition, the fridge is broken and freezes everything solid. Even cider got frozen solid, so it’s not just mildly off. it meant that I bought groceries on my first evening, and then I had to throw everything away. I mentioned it to the host, who indeed said he had already heard about it form a previous guest, but hoped the problem would fix itself. I’m not sure how a fridge is supposed to fix itself. I ended up cutting my stay one day short and I didn’t even ask for a refund because I found it pointless.
