We loved it, would return and would certainly recommend it

The location was superb, quiet with excellent views, a great base for exploring. Cabin had everything you needed for a self catering break and was very spacious. There were lovely little touches like leaving fresh eggs for us, milk and some nice biscuits.

The bed, it's mattress could do with being replaced, it dipped in the centre, also the duvet was a bit too heavy for summer time, not the most comfortable sleep I've had

A special one of a kind cabin in a great location, ideal for a couple to explore Lewis.

Great location for exploring Lewis with stunning sea views. Loved watching the Hebridean sheep and saw dolphins from the cabin on our last morning. The cabin was spotless, really well designed and beautifully dressed with friendly owners and delicious eggs provided from their chickens.

Just a perfect wee home by the sea!

Liked everything, from the moment I walked in right to the end of my stay! The perfect, cozy home away from home, right by the sea! Surprisingly spacious and very well equipped cabin, had everything one might need on a bank hol weekend break. Also loved the location, never explored that part of Lewis and it is certainly worth taking a look at - handy for Stornoway shops, yet rural - waking up to a combination of this gorgeous sea view and sheep conversations outside my window was just perfect. Travelled solo but could imagine a couple or small family still very comfy in this space. Fresh eggs supplied as a welcome was also a fabulous bonus! Will definitely return if given half a chance. :)

A very well designed space, with great views. No TV required. Everything you need was there and the eggs were an added bonus. Comfortable and cozy esp if the weather wasn't so great. The walk down to the coast was well worth it as well. Friendly host.

Excellent!

Room was very cosy and well equipped. IMHO, the space was just nice for a couple. There’s a wonderful view to watch the sunrise when you wake up in the morning. Above all, Gareth and Karen were superbly helpful. The car we rented suffered a punctured tyre and they went out of his way to assist us - e.g. Gareth helped us to source a replacement car from a local company. We are grateful for the kindness of the hosts and would strongly recommend this property.

Absolutely stunning stay: I wish I could live here and we will be back!

The location, although slightly out of the main town, was stunning. We wish we could have stayed longer, just to enjoy the beautiful views and the lovely surrounding farm (and its adorable animal occupants). The room was STUNNING...every last detail was well thought out and perfectly styled. The bed was incredibly cushy and comfortable, facing the large windows overlooking the sea. Kitchen, bathroom and lounge were all perfect for a short stay, with everything we needed to cook dinner and enjoy. Very private and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! Hosts were also lovely, property was fairly easy to find and parking was right next to our little room.

A cosy, comfortable croft with a stunning view.

The croft was cosy, practical and comfortable. The location was great as it is about 18mins to Stornoway town centre. The view from the croft is stunning. Karen and Gareth were friendly, informative and accommodating hosts.

A peaceful and scenic wee gem.

Karen and Gareth helped us out massively after a failed camping attempt thanks to the typical Scottish weather, but we are glad of the camping disaster as it led us to this wee gem. The location and views were amazing over looking the croft and the sea. Its just far out enough to feel like your in the middle of nowhere but close enough to Stornoway for anything you may need. The cabin is dog friendly and Karen and Gareth even welcomed our dog jura with a wee bag of treats. Its modern, clean, cosy and lets in a lot of natural light. A home away from home with everything you could need. Fantastic hosts who couldn’t of been more welcoming if they tried. We hope to return to Lewis in the future and we will most definitely be booking here again. 10/10.

Es war wirklich wunderbar.

Die Aussicht auf das Meer und die Schafe war super schön. Das Cabin ist super schön eingerichtet und liebevoll dekoriert. Es wurde ein Fernglas für Walbeobachtung zur Verfügung gestellt. Als Willkommensgruß bekamen wir Milch, Kekse und Eier von den eigenen Hühnern und für den Hund gab es eine Tüte Leckerlies. Wir hatten persönlichen und netten Kontakt zu den Vermietern die direkt nebenan wohnen.

Hätte nicht besser sein können

Atemberaubende Aussicht. Perfekt gemütliche Hütte mit toller Ausstattung und schöner Einrichtung.

Ausser dass das Bett für 2 etwas klein ist (was wir aber im voraus wussten also unser Problem) gibt es absolut gar nichts auszusetzen
