The location is perfect for our needs. It is close to the town and to a beach. Perfect for anyone wanting to explore the island. The rooms are comfortable, and the house was nice and warm. Would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

An enjoyable holiday touring Lewis & Harris from a very accessible location.

Clean and comfortable bungalow in a very convenient location for touring both Harris & Lewis. Quiet area short drive from both the port & airport in Stornaway.

No Welcome Pack. A modest welcome pack with a few basic provisions e.g Tea, Coffee, Milk, a packet of biscuits would have been much appreciated as we arrived on the late ferry [10pm] following the cancellation of our flight earlier in the day. There was no opportunity to visit shops on our arrival [all closed] & on Sunday there are very limited facilities available in the vicinity.

this was our second stay here it is very well situated for exploring the island and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing holiday the host Dee-Ann was very nice she even got the house ready early for us as the ferry docked long before check in I think the house is named after her because she is truly a wee gem we will definitely be returning

Amazing Wee Gem in beautiful Lewis.

Absolutely amazing accommodation for our week long stay in Lewis. The Wee Gem had everything you can think of and more. The bed was so comfortable and after long days sight seeing and driving it was heaven just to sit in the living room and relax with a drink and watch TV or read. Stornoway centre is only 10 mins by car. Dee Anne was the perfect host and communication was spot on the folder she has made up about places of interest is very informative. We definitely would stay here again if able to get a booking. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your lovely house.

Another great trip to our favourite island.

The cottage is at an ideal location for touring the island. It has all amenities you would require, the owners have thought of everything.

Unfortunately on our visit this year, the cottage wasn't as clean as it was last year, we noticed cobwebs on the ceilings in a couple of the rooms and the cottage also smelt a bit stale, don't know if it just hadnt been occupied for a while before we visited.
