Casa de Corazon is a family home that is opening a new chapter in its life as a tropical Florida getaway, close to the beach as well as great Florida destinations. At the end of the day, relax in the screened private pool and patio, and retire to the two comfortable bedrooms and two private bathrooms. The quiet neighborhood is perfect for an excellent night's sleep. Living room includes a queen size sofa/sleeper for two additional guests. The fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and Florida sunroom with French doors opening to the pool area are designed for total privacy and relaxation. Smart TV, wifi and washer and dryer included.

Casa de Corazon is ideally located for beach days, shopping and dining. Indian Rocks Beach is 10 minutes away, Clearwater Beach 20 minutes, Treasure Island Beaches 30 minutes, St. Petersburg Beach and Pass-a-Grille 40 to 45 minutes. Excursion boats and charter fishing boats are available at Clearwater Beach and at John's Pass on Madeira Beach. Dolphin watch cruises and sunset cruises are very popular. For more adventure, Tarpon Springs is about one hour north. The old Greek town was home to sponge divers and is an excellent place to see manatees. Shopping is outstanding in St. Petersburg, Clearwater Beach and John's Pass areas.

Seafood restaurants abound in the area. Grouper, Mahi-Mahi, shrimp and scallops, redfish, and even hogfish, are popular choices. Just 10 minutes away in Indian Rocks Beach are P.J.'s, J.D.'s, Jimmy Guana's, and the original Crabby Bill's. In John's Pass/Treasure Island are Bubba Gump, Scuppers, Caddies, the big Crabby's at the Pass, and Middle Ground Grille. Downtown St. Petersburg has a major arts scene, including The Salvador Dali Museum, and a new Doc Ford's Raw Bar and Grill on the water. Doc Ford's is outstanding!

For those wanting a theme park day, Casa de Corazon is located about 30 minutes from Busch Gardens in Tampa, and 90 minutes from Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World. It is actually very realistic to wake up in Largo in the morning, drive the 90 minutes to Disney, spend the day there, and drive back to Casa de Corazon in the evening.

For the veteran who is looking for comradery and inexpensive entertainment, there are two VFW halls, and three American Legion halls within 10-15 minutes drive. Each offers dining, bar service, dancing, and other unique features for the Florida experience.

Casa de Corazon is decorated with art from many nations. The Owner spent a great deal of his career working internationally. Much of the art was obtained in Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Caribbean Islands. While we hope you enjoy it, while caring for our sentimental, worldly art.
