Perfect Stay!

We had an amazing time at Fabio's Apartment in Vlora! The location is ideal, close to the beach and local spots, with stunning views from the balcony. The apartment is spacious, modern, and fully equipped, with plenty of room for all of us. Clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, it made our stay so relaxing. Fabio, the host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Vlora, we’ll definitely be back!

I stayed at Fabio's place for a duration of two nights, and we found it to be cozy and pleasant. The position of the accommodation is excellent. The host was extremely supportive and went out of their way to accommodate us. The apartment was well-equipped, providing all the necessary amenities such as dishes, cups, utensils, and notably, air conditioning. In addition, there is a grocery store conveniently located within walking distance, ensuring easy access to any required supplies. Without a doubt, we enthusiastically endorse choosing Fabio's apartment as a place to stay.

Fabio is a great host. Very easy to communicate with, he was always attentive. The flat is very nicely "dressed". With all the needed allowances. Spacious, clean. Sheets, towels... all included. Enough water (boiler) for 6 people (in some other occasions I struggled with this, that's why I mentioned). Definitely worth staying and we would repeat with no doubt.

From the outside, you might think it's a bit "old", but that's quite common in Albania from what we experienced. However, once you enter in the apartment, all is beautifully set :) I wish I could have stayed longer.

it was a very pleasurable and welcoming stay!

It was very spatious and well oriented, sunny during all day, clean, with all the neccessary facilites, and the position in the city is very close to all points of interest (walking distance). The host was friendly and always ready to assist with everything we needed (tips amd suggestions about the city included) It was a very comfortable stay! we really enjoyed it!

The apartment is very spacious and close to the markets. The beach or the nightlife is not far away by car. Fabio is a great host, he assisted us all the time.

There was a lot of light in the apartment, which is not very convenient in the morning. However this would not prevent me from coming again.

Very good

We are full-time travelers who spent 6 weeks (separate bookings) at Fabio's apartment with our two small dogs. The apartment is spacious and very bright - the kitchen/DR/LR receives sunlight throughout the day. The kitchen is large with plenty of space for meal prep. We carry pots & pans and did not use Fabio's, the apartment has a stockpot and small pot, a couple of frying pans, and a casserole dish for guests' use. We primarily cooked on the stovetop as the oven does not get very hot. The living room has two good-sized couches, the very large L shape in the pictures and the one shown in the corners. Both were comfortable and in good condition. The balcony faces south and was perfect for drying laundry. The main bedroom has plenty of room to walk around the bed as well as space for clothes storage. Because we stayed during the winter and the bedrooms are not heated, we needed the space heater to keep the room warm. The bedroom has a large window and is bright enough but does not receive any direct sunlight. I would expect it to be ideal in the summer. The bed is a bit older and firm and you can feel that the center is more worn. Parking is in a small "lot" in front of the apartment, we never had a problem finding space for our large car. There is a picture of the space on g**gle maps. The apartment is on the first floor with the view taken from the balcony. The dirt roads behind the building were ideal for taking our dog's to toilet - dumpsters are within a couple of minutes walk. The apartment is very convenient for walking to the grocery stores with the waterfront approximately 20 minutes walk. I wouldn't stay there if my intent was to go to the waterfront and only the waterfront but if you want a range of options it is a good location. Communication with Fabio was easy, he was very quick to respond and extremely courteous when I forgot to account for our overnight ferry when providing our arrival date.

Items to note: As mentioned in the question, the shower is currently not enclosed. We carry a small squeegee and used it to clear the excess water from the floor. We did notice that the water pressure dropped as the morning progressed. It will not matter for those staying in warmer months but the windows do not seal well with the one at the shower not able to shut (latch issue). We definitely noticed the drafts on cloudy and windy days. There is only one light in the bathroom, lights over the sink would be beneficial. The vanity has holes for lights but the unit has been removed. The vanity and the kitchen cabinets are older and have signs of wear but function ok...although the bathroom sink is missing a drain plug and the kitchen sink has a hole where the knob for the sink stopper should be. We had an issue with the kitchen faucet wobbling, the metal ring attachment had rusted and broken. Fabio indicated it happened recently and had it quickly repaired but represented a broader feel - some items are functioning but not as best as you would expect. Note that the TV has the capability for HDMI connections but may not work with Apple products. With Fabio's help, we discovered that the TV would recognize my Dell but not my husband's Macbook Air. When researching the TV's serial number my husband found that the TV is too old for the later versions of macOS. None of the above items would prevent us from staying at the apartment again, the size and light more than make up for them.
