A convenient location

Amazing location, really bright, clean and modern throughout with a lovely garden area. Handy being able to use the parking permit. The kitchen is well equipped and the sofa and chair was comfortable and enjoyable to relax in. The TV is a Smart tv which allowed us to login in to various streaming platforms. The water pressure is fantastic and the heating was effective

The double bedrooms bedside cabinets have an unpleasant smell which was significant enough to leave me unable to sleep in there, I found that the twin rooms beds were more comfortable but my husband and I would obviously much rather have shared a bed rather than stay on twins. The hairdryer did not work

Spacious and comfortable apartment within the mountains

Really inviting apartment with cosy living room and spotless toilet facilities. Bedroom was lush and location perfect for hiking.

Totally understandable but there were no salt, pepper, or cooking ingredients available.

Llovely Llanberis

Modern and clean apartment right in the heart of charming Llanberis and close to the path to Snowdon (though our boys took the more challenging Watkin route which they really enjoyed, in the driving rain!) Well stocked kitchen within living room area which was great for us. Bedrooms warm (too warm at times - had to turn down heating) with fairly comfortable beds (see below). Special praise for Andreas the owner who had a coat we left behind sent back to us promptly (hoping it arrives soon) which we'd left in a cupboard.

Only issue for us was having just the one toilet within a single bathroom (no ensuite) which made it a little awkward with 4 people at times. Main bedroom bed also rather springy - we rolled into the middle! Suggest new mattress. Hairdryer a bit dodgy - blade catching inside so quickly turned off.

Although the timing wasn’t great what with storm Amy, we enjoyed our stay.

Location was very good for us, apartment was warm and clean, nice to stay somewhere that doesn’t have stairs. Parking worked very well we had a parking permit for car park but at 5 we were able to park the car on the street for the night for free. Will definitely be back Annie.

Highly recommended: the flat is comfortable, warm and in an excellent location.

Beautiful flat, well laid out and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds, nice shower. The living room was inviting and kitchen had all you need for self catering. There is a very nice garden patio. Close to everything you need: shops, restaurants, bus stop, the lake. We didn't meet the host but the communication via messages showed excellent customer care. We really loved staying there and will certainly go back.

Nothing really. The Wi-Fi was patchy but we had the same experience in other parts of Wales so I guess it's the area. Wasn't an issue for us.

Would have been perfect, except…

We stayed at Number 7, so I can only talk about that apartment and not 8. I had mixed opinions so I’ll start with the good stuff, of which there were a lot! This is what I liked: - location was perfect. It’s right on Llanberis high street, close to the Spar, cafés, and literally right next to a nice Indian takeaway. It’s a really quick walk to the long-stay car park! It’s about a 15-20 min walk to Dolbadarn Castle ruins following the road, a bit longer if you walk through Padarn Country Park. It’s about a 15 min walk to the Snowdon Mountain Railway station so it was super convenient when we went! - we were given really clear instructions for parking, with a parking permit available inside the flat which we used over several days. The car park is just a few minutes’ walk away, super convenient! - the flat itself is actually quite big and very comfy! I loved the little garden area, and every afternoon a tuxedo cat would come and sit on the fence right outside the glass door, so that was an additional delight 💕 The L-shaped sofa is particularly comfy, and my friends and I had a nice time watching Netflix and BBC iPlayer together every night. - the kitchen has all the basics available, including a dishwasher, cutlery, pots and pans etc. We found sponges, a bottle of malt vinegar, a spray bottle of oil, and salt too. We did need to go buy our own paper towels, dishwasher pods, and washing up liquid, but we didn’t mind that. - The main bedroom (with the double bed) has loads of power sockets, it’s so useful to be able to charge everything at once. - The second bedroom has two single beds so we all really appreciated that we didn’t need to share.

I would have given this place 10/10 except for some issues that turned out to be pretty important. - the listing includes a washing machine, but when we arrived we discovered there was none. Andreas, the owner, said unfortunately there had been one until recently when it needed to be taken out. Hopefully they add it back in for the people staying after us. If you need to do laundry, there’s a laundromat across the road. - the flat has a mould problem. In the main bedroom, there was a really intense smell of mould every time I went to sleep. The pillows all smelled fresh, so I think it may have been the cushioned headboard. I developed a rash on the back of my neck after 3 days, which I think might be linked to that. My friends both developed rashes on their arms too, but didn’t mention if they found mould in their room. However, one of the single beds had stains on the bedding, so much that my friend took the blankets from the living room and slept on them instead. If it weren’t for that, the flat would have been perfect. The mould is the biggest issue which would stop me from staying here again, but if that gets fixed this would be a great place to stay.

A good apartment for all seasons

Very well equipped and comfortable apartment. We managed to make use of the sunny garden on our arrival day and used the central heating the following day to get the apartment nice and cosy and to dry ourselves out. So the apartment is great for all seasons.

Our stay was perfect!

Very stylish, clean, spacious apartment next to the beautiful lake.

Neighbours were a little bit loud. I would suggest a higher fence between gardens.

Nice little apartment on high street missing the nice touches sadly .

Great Location . Good comms . Nice to be in town . Quiet surprisingly. Nice tv and fire . Some nice decor Shower good in modern bathroom . Nice little outdoor space but outdoor furniture has seen better days . No outdoor cushions . Ice in freezer was a nice touch .

Such a shame the nice little touches weren’t there . Had containers on side for tea coffee and sugar . Only one teabag no coffee and tiny amount of sugar . 3 clocks all with wrong time . Instructions in apartment were for different apartment. Couldn’t connect to WiFi on first night but then we worked out by finding router with code in it . Parking was easy but away from property . Very dark to get into key lock and lots of people hanging around door spilling out from takeaway next door . Make sure you use light by door inside as corridor very dark and has a hidden step . No sheet or fan for hot weather so nit ideal in hot weather .

Fantastic location for exploring North Wales

The location was fantastic. It was dog friendly and had Netflix and Amazon Prime. The kitchen also had everything you need for cooking.

Great flat for walking Yr Wyddfa without having to drive to car park.

Well equipped flat in excellent location. Perfect to walk from the door. Parking was no problem, either for drop off outside the door or at the car park with the supplied permit. Small garden was a real bonus in the sunshine.

A gem of a find near to Snowdon Railway

A superb apartment within close proximity to the Snowdon Mountain railway and perfect place to stay for touring the surrounding area. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and has a very high standard of finish. Something that is also rare at this price point. A special thanks goes to the hard work that Llewela puts in to keeping the apartment tip top, we were fortunate to briefly meet her during our stay. The location is also perfect for not only local takeaways and places to eat, there is also a Spa a very short walk down the road. WiFi very good, TV has all the latest features so if you have Prime Video, Netflix etc you can login, just remember to log out for the next guest. Kitchen has everything you should need, both bed and sitting room very comfortable. It may not look the part from the Main Street but don’t be fooled the surprise is nicely tucked away at the back for your enjoyable stay.

Good stay in a great apartment in the heart of the Welsh climbing capital.

Great place in Llanberis, right in the High St. Good apartment with excellent facilities. A parking permit is supplied for a car park that is a way off and has some odd restrictions, not the fault of the owners, just the council. We found it fairly easy to park on the street at the top end of the village, stayed in Llanberis many times. I would definitely stay here again for another climbing trip. One issue was the heating was over complicated and you have limited control over it.
