My stay at the hotel was wonderful, and my family and I truly enjoyed our time there. Although the room was smaller than I had expected, it was comfortable and well-maintained. I have always been a loyal guest of the Helnan Group, and I make it a point to stay at one of their hotels whenever I'm on vacation. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options, and the hotel's location was excellent. Most of the staff were friendly and professional, and I would especially like to thank the swimming pool staff for their kindness and exceptional support to my family and me throughout our stay.

While my overall stay was enjoyable, I experienced several issues during the check-in process that were disappointing. I had booked a King Room through Booking.com. However, upon arrival, the check-in process took much longer than expected. When I was finally shown to my room, it was located on the ground floor and had a queen-size bed instead of the king bed I had reserved. In fact, the bed even seemed smaller than a standard queen size. I informed the reception that I had specifically booked a King Room with a balcony on the first floor. It took approximately another hour before they were able to prepare and assign the correct room. I also requested an extra bed, but I was informed that it would require an additional charge. Furthermore, I was told that my 6-year-old son would need to pay an extra fee for breakfast. After discussing the matter with the staff, they eventually waived the breakfast charge. As a loyal Helnan guest who regularly chooses Helnan hotels for my vacations, I was surprised by this experience. I have stayed at Helnan Port Said before and never encountered such issues. I hope the hotel can improve its check-in process and ensure that guests receive the room category they have booked without unnecessary delays.

Reception staffs are very helpful and friendly. The location, the decors...etc very nice and the beach not bad.

AC had no heating (it's the second time i book this hotel and find the same issue), it caused a lot of humidity in the room and the bed sheets very damp and cold. Also somehow overpriced especially that there were literally like 3 couples in the whole hotels which was also a little bit depressing. i would have appreciated in such situation a sauna or internal pool.
