Lovely hotel. Staff friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. Subway just along the road if you need to go into the city centre. Would definitely stay again.

We found the hotel reception area to be clean and tidy however upon entering our room it was like going back in time, very dated and very dusty in places, clearly the cleaners need to pay more attention.
In this modern age it would be expected for water to be provided in the room however none was present, nor any sugar by the tea and coffee, after several calls to reception eventually someone picked up they asked if I could come and get sugar, no apology was offered.
The shower thermostat also seemed to be failing one minute the water was tepid and the next almost boiling and constantly changing temperature during use - the hotel did nothing to come and look at the issue.
Finally the TV did not work, apparently the hotel was experiencing signal issues,
The receptionists answer to all of these was to make a complaint and see if some compensation could be offered.
Considering the price we paid to stay here, we would of had a better experience in staying at a travel lodge, would have been far cheaper and at least you get a consistent service.

The hotel is great for exploring the West End. The hotel not so. Remote did not work in the room, the lights would not come on in the room, mould in the bathroom and no hot water for a morning shower. A little disappointed. The remote was easily fixed but the response to the cold shower was like warm.
