A lovely location with pub and gardens alongside the river Severn. Accommodation was good but needs a refresh as marks on the carpets etc. But generally good. Watch out as pub shut on Sunday nights so plan an evening meal elsewhere

The door to our room was a bit stiff and hard to get into, and the bathroom ceiling was a bit mouldy, but other than that the stay was so wonderful and we would definitely come back again.

Our first stay at this Inn and we will certainly return. We had a lovely welcome and George and the team were kind and attentive. The food and service was fab and the accommodation comfortable, clean and well designed. Truly dog friendly and beautifully situated. Thank you

Mouldy shower, paper peeling off wall, cracks in plaster took the edge off a very well designed bedroom. Good bed and tea making facility. Great staff. Good food but some off the portions were a little small and worst off all, bisto gravy... why !?

Great place to stay only down side was bar shut on friday night before 9.40 when we arrived back in so couldn't go in and have a drink. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Lovely clean room.

This was night away for my birthday. On arrival 2pm we asked at thrle bar for a drink and asked where we check in. He said here at 3. Not i will see if your ready and not the happiest of friendliest welcome. Room wasnt very big and i thought i ordered a king bed but it was double. Bathroom smelt of urine and lots of spiders and cobwebs around the room. Had a nice supply of toiletries. 2 Tbags 2 coffees no biscuits or extra touches. Was told by my email evening dinner was till 6. However we asked again and said 4.45. So we had to check in rush to get ready and when we arrived in the bar 4.15 and asked for a menu he said you need to be quick we stop in 15 minutes. Ordered the steak, mine was so tough its unreal. No one came to ask until taking the plates away how the food was. I politely said mine was tough but the sauce was lovely. He didnt reply or say anthing. Few minutes later i could hear swearing from the kitchen. When my partner went to pay he apologized and removed my steak from the bill which was nice. Breakfast next day had traditional full english. Not nice.sourdough break yiy ciukd barely cut it was so tough. Streaky bacon not ideal for breskfast, perfume tasting sausage the rest was ok. Waitress was lovely asked how it was but i admit i lied and said it was ok. I didnt want to come across as one of these complainers. The room wasnt cheap and staff apart from the breakfast lady, and jamie who took is to our room were nit welcoming helpful or friendly.

What an amazing stay we had! The Fleet Inn only has 3 rooms and we were very well looked after, including the dog. Lovely location beside the river with a nice beer garden and terrace, and outstanding food! We will be back!

Great place to stay, we stayed enroute to Cornwall from Northumberland and it was so good we rebooked to stay on way back. Comfy warm rooms, good showers and comfortable beds (not to mention the complimentary beer and Prosecco). Breakfast was excellent and included in the room rate. The food at the Fleet was lovely and the staff all friendly and helpful. It’s just off M5/M50 and only 3 miles from Tewksbury with it’s amazing cathedral. Definitely cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Everything was fine but the room needed a chest of drawers, nowhere to put anything, and a couple of comfortable chairs, not everyone wants to sit on the bed. Also no shelf to put shaving tackle etc in bathroom. The fold down sofa bed was uncomfortable, you could feel the wooden divider beneath the thin mattress.

Warm welcome on arrival and shown to our room which was spotless, beautifully furnished and a lovely view across the river. Room was quite. Honesty bar in room, fresh milk and a good choice of tea, coffee and chocolate. Breakfast offered a good choice and was all freshly cooked. Our only slight criticism was service for our evening meal. There were two girls waiting on but this resulted in us being asked twice about our drinks, our order, if everything was ok , then our dessert appeared to have been forgotten. If one person had responsibility for the table this would have been avoided perhaps. Excellent value and would definitely recommend and hope to be back.

I have stayed here about 4 times now with work. The rooms are gorgeous, the evening meals are delicious and the location is to die for… But the breakfast service is awful! Breakfast doesn’t ‘start’ until 8 which isn’t really ideal from a business perspective. Most hotels i stay in start at 7/7.30 and never 8. It’s to late for a week day breakfast for working guests. I told the staff the night before I would grab and go some breakfast, a coffee & a pastry maybe, to which they went and told the chef and said that was more than fine! So I came down at 8 the following morning expecting to quickly get something and go, to be told by Kerry (who is so lovely!!) that the chef wasn’t in yet. I waited until 8.30 and he still hadn’t arrived!! Kerry was very apologetic and said this happens most days! She isn’t allowed to go into the kitchen herself to make any pastries/toast as she’s not insured. And once the chef arrives it normally takes around half an hour to heat everything up and get the kitchen ready to serve. So all I could have was a take away latte! This wouldn’t be a problem if I’d chose to pay for it or not but the room came as breakfast included so that is what’s expected. I am also 6 months pregnant and work away from home all week so it really wasn’t a great morning for me. A massive shame as this is a wonderful place to stay.

I stayed here several weeks back, i got a free stay due to The Fleet having 20% of food which was on the menu, No Hot water in the Morning, The door Handle falling off and the Chef being 1hr late for breakfast, I did not put anything bad on here about my stay, instead a gave it a second chance. Last night on the 8/2/2022 after booking with 24hrs notice i turned up to check in, the young lad in the bar informed me he would check my room, after 10minutes he returned to say all was ok, on taking me to the room i found that the bed was slept in, the towels and shower mat were wet and on the floor, there was excrement in the toilet Pubic hairs all over the back, the condiments open and empty and the coffee pot still full of cold coffee and no cups, i informed the young lad who then took me to a second room saying this one is ok, to find the towels again wet and the toilet dirty, a dirty coffee cup, the bin was full and bed slept in. Sorry for that i will check the 3rd room this being a 3 bedroom hotel, i thought i will wait outside for this one, only to see the young lad sneaking out with towels and covers and dirty cups, i stopped him and asked is this one also dirty, my reply the bed has been made in this one, i entered to find further dirty cups a full bin no towels as they had just been removed and a carpet which was in need of a good hoover. On this note i felt somewhat treated like a fool and the manager nowhere to be found. I left for my 3hr drive home.

We had a fantastic stay at the Fleet Inn. The location was lovely on the River Avon. The staff were great and the room lovely, spacious and clean. We ate their and the pizza was great and the beer was too. Had a great nights sleep, the bed was very comfy. A very relaxing stay. A special thanks to Catherine so was very helpful and a great asset to the pub.

Amazing place. Room was one of the best I’ve stayed in. New and modern. Mini bar with a free mini Prosecco and a free beer. Fresh chilled milk. Robes, all the bathroom essentials you can think of, shaver & shave cream, sewing kit, nail kit, room spray, lavender sleep spray, ladies items, toothbrush & paste, shower cap and I’m sure there was more. Gorgeous tea cups & saucers. Quality tea bags. Homemade biscuits. The outside space under the veranda is beautiful. Outside pizza oven, which was delicious. Views of the river. Plenty of parking and outside seating. Staff friendly. Not one complaint from me. Thank you I will be back.
