Plus: - Strategic Location, within walking distance to main attractions - a lot of restaurants nearby that open until late night, no issue to find food - supermarket nearby - Staffs are superb. Very helpful, accomodating, resourcefull and informative. We left our sunglasses on the Bosphorus cruise that we booked through hotel, just within hours after we report to the reception they return it back to us, great job. -Rooms were clean, fresh and everything were functioned properly. Not abudantly big but enough space even for family with 3 kids. - Breakfast are always refill even close to the closing time, so we always have complete breakfast selection. Things to consider: - roads around the area are hills, the incline could be very steep, just consider this especially if you will travel with elderly or people with mobility limitation. - there was no gym but walking around the neighbourhood already an exercise.

I recently stayed at the Great Fortune Design Hotel & Spa in Istanbul and had a fantastic experience. If you are looking for a central, welcoming, and spotless place to stay, I highly recommend it. Strategic Location: The location is absolutely perfect for sightseeing. It is situated in the heart of Sultanahmet, putting you within a short 5-to-10-minute walk of Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. Exceptional Staff: The staff members are the true highlight of this hotel. They are incredibly kind, attentive, welcoming and always willing to go the "extra mile" to help. The hotel is very well-maintained and clean. My room was spotless upon arrival, and the daily housekeeping ensured that everything remained fresh throughout my stay.

The cleaning staff should check the condition of the towels before placing them in the rooms, and the breakfast could include local, natural products instead of standardized ones.

It's an old hotel with mediocre breakfasts and service. The room is small and very tired. The breakfast is worthy of a 3-star, at most. My request for an early check-in and late check-out, sent to the email address provided in the confirmation, was simply ignored.
